The Career Development Program (CDP) invites ambitious university students who are interested in having a unique and novel future career, regardless of their educational backgrounds and faculties, to participate in the CDP various activities to explore the promising ICT career paths. The program provides the following main services and activities for its base of beneficiaries:
Career and Training
Coaching and Consultation: Providing Egyptian youth with the
opportunity of conducting career counseling sessions (face-to-face or online) with
certified career coaches to guide participants while making ICT career and training decisions. Apprenticeship Opportunities Aggregation: Through ITI’s public-private network, the
program will provide Egyptian youth with numerous apprenticeship opportunities to
receive on-the-job training in reputable ICT businesses. Virtual Career Center (VCC): A one-stop-shop for all ICT career opportunities available
in Egypt with employment strategies to assist youth in getting prepared for the job market. Training and Industry Consortium:Foster communication between the academic
community and ICT industry to facilitate understanding the continuously evolving industry needs and better cater for them.
