* The month of Ramadan... a great opportunity to raise children in a sound way* This opportunity appears in teaching your children those positive values:- First: Patience We can teach our children patience through this month by accustoming them to fasting, and by explaining that abstaining from food and drink and enduring hunger and thirst throughout the day Ramadan teaches us patience in obedience, patience in avoiding taboos, and patience in the painful decrees of God. Second: Children’s attachment to mosques Taking the child to pray in the mosque and being keen to encourage him to participate in the religious competitions that are held in the mosque develops in him a love of going to the mosque and attachment to it, and a sense of the spirituality of God’s house from the presence of people at the time of prayer and standing before God. These scenes remain fixed in the child's mind throughout his life, and he remembers them with happiness, and they have a prominent role in reinforcing his love for the mosque throughout the year. Third: Monitoring and self-control, so that the child learns from fasting how to monitor himself, as fasting is between him and God, and no one but God sees him. How can he be committed to abstaining from food and drink during the day in Ramadan, out of respect for the intention of fasting before God? And fearing that he will fail what he committed to with God, and from it he learns self-control and self-control and honesty with God. Fourth: Reading the Qur’an and getting attached to it The month of Ramadan is a great opportunity for everyone to get attached to the Qur’an, so we set basic times during the day for reading and pondering the Book of God. When the child sees his parents reading the Book of God, this will be a motive for the child to follow their example. And an opportunity for parents to allocate time to teach their children how to properly read and recite the Book of God and tell the stories of the Qur’an. Fifth: Learning positive values ​​We can teach children a lot of positive values ​​during the month of Ramadan. By emulating what adults do, such as giving alms to the poor and feeding the needy. So the child learns the principles of generosity, generosity, and the rights of the poor, which God urged us to perform. By adhering to all of these things, we can raise a good Muslim child who will serve himself and his religion.
