🏛️ مجلس كلية الطب البيطري بجامعة القاهرة يستعرض حصاد يونيو ٢٠٢٦ وخطط التطوير المستقبلية




عقد مجلس – جامعة القاهرة اجتماعه الدوري يوم الاثنين الموافق ٢٢ يونيو ٢٠٢٦ برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير – عميد الكلية، وبحضور السادة الوكلاء والسيد اللواء دكتور/ أيمن منير - مدير إدارة الخدمات البيطرية بالقوات المسلحة، وأعضاء مجلس الكلية، حيث ناقش المجلس عدداً من الموضوعات المتعلقة بالتطوير الأكاديمي والبحثي وخدمة المجتمع وتعزيز دور الكلية في دعم رؤية الدولة المصرية.

✨التهنئة بالعام الهجري الجديد
استهل أعماله بتقديم أصدق التهاني وأطيب التمنيات إلى أسرة كلية الطب البيطري وجامعة القاهرة والأمة العربية والإسلامية بمناسبة حلول العام الهجري الجديد ١٤٤٨ هـ، داعين الله عز وجل أن يجعله عاماً مليئاً بالخير والبركة والتقدم والنجاح لمصرنا الحبيبة ولجميع منسوبي الجامعة.

استهل المجلس أعماله بتكريم فريق عمل الجودة بالكلية تقديراً لجهودهم المتميزة في دعم منظومة الجودة والاعتماد، ومواصلة العمل على تطوير الأداء المؤسسي والأكاديمي بالكلية.

🥩 دعم مبادرة اللحوم المدعمة
وجه المجلس الشكر والتقدير لمعالي الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد سامي عبد الصادق – رئيس جامعة القاهرة، على دعم سيادته لمبادرة اللحوم المدعمة، والتي حققت نجاحاً كبيراً خلال الفترة الماضية، بما أسهم في تخفيف الأعباء المعيشية ودعم العاملين وأعضاء هيئة التدريس
في جامعة القاهرة.

🎉 نجاح كبير لفعاليات عيد الأضحى وزيارة رئيس الجامعة للكلية
أشاد مجلس الكلية بالنجاح المتميز لفعاليات عيد الأضحى المبارك التي نظمتها كلية الطب البيطري – جامعة القاهرة، والتي شهدت حضوراً ومتابعة مباشرة من معالي الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد سامي عبد الصادق – رئيس جامعة القاهرة، خلال زيارته للكلية في أول أيام عيد الأضحى المبارك، في تأكيد واضح على دعمه المستمر لأنشطة الكلية ومبادراتها المجتمعية والتنموية.
ووجّه المجلس خالص الشكر والتقدير للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة والعاملين الذين تواجدوا خلال أيام العيد وساهموا في تنظيم الفعاليات ومتابعة أعمال المبادرة.

كما تم توجيه الشكر للسيدة أ.د/ جيهان قاسم - أستاذ ورئيس قسم الرقابة الصحية على الأغذية وكذلك د. نورهان بحر -المدرس المساعد بقسم الرقابة الصحية على اللحوم- لدورها الفعال في الكشف على الأضاحي في فترة العيد

كذلك تقدم المجلس بالشكر للسيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ نبيل ياسين - الأستاذ بقسم الرقابة الصحية على الأغذية على المحاضرة المتميزة حول شروط الأضحية وصحتها لمجتمع الكلية وذلك قبل عيد الأضحى المبارك.

🌍 ابراز مشاركة الكلية في
استعرض المجلس مشاركة الكلية في احتفالية الدولة المصرية بيوم أفريقيا التي أقيمت بجامعة القاهرة وبمشاركة كلمة فخامة السيد الرئيس/ AbdelFattah Elsisi - عبد الفتاح السيسي مؤكداً أهمية دور الكلية في جذب الطلاب الوافدين وتعزيز الشراكات الاستراتيجية مع الدول والمؤسسات الأفريقية، بما يدعم العمق الاستراتيجي لمصر ويسهم في تبادل الخبرات وبناء القدرات العلمية والبحثية.

🔬 ربط بالصناعة وسوق العمل
أكد الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير أهمية التوسع في ربط البحث العلمي باحتياجات الصناعة وسوق العمل، بما يتوافق مع رؤية الدولة المصرية للتنمية المستدامة وتعظيم الاستفادة من مخرجات البحث العلمي وتحويلها إلى تطبيقات عملية تخدم المجتمع والاقتصاد الوطني.

هنأ المجلس الطالبة/ چيرمين مجدي – بالمستوى الثاني، بمناسبة اجتيازها مراحل الاختبارات والقبول بورشة عمل الإخراج المسرحي بالمسرح القومي - وزارة الثقافة المصرية، متمنياً لها مزيداً من النجاح والتميز.

📝 انتظام امتحانات الفصل الدراسي الثاني
أشاد المجلس بحسن سير وانتظام امتحانات الفصل الدراسي الثاني، موجهاً الشكر للسيد أ.د/ هشام الزربة - وكيل الكلية لشئون الطلاب وللسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة والعاملين على التزامهم الكامل بأعمال الامتحانات خصوصا (خلال أيام الإجازات الرسمية)، كما وجه الشكر للسيد الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد رجب – نائب رئيس الجامعة لشؤون التعليم والطلاب، لمتابعته المستمرة لأعمال الامتحانات بالكلية.

🏆 إنجاز عالمي للمجلة الدولية للكلية
وجه المجلس الشكر لفريق تحرير المجلة الدولية لكلية الطب البيطري - جامعة القاهرة بمناسبة تحقيقها مركزاً متقدماً وحصولها على المركز الثامن عالمياً، بما يعكس مكانة الكلية البحثية وريادتها العلمية على المستوى الدولي حيث أكد السيد العميد على ضرورة الاستمرار

🐔 استمرار دورات تسمين الدواجن
تابع المجلس ما تحقق من نجاحات في دورات تسمين الدواجن، مؤكداً الاستمرار في تطويرها وتعزيز دور الكلية كوحدة إنتاجية وتعليمية وبحثية تخدم المجتمع.

⚖️ المشاركة في لجنة النزاهة بالجامعة
استعرض المجلس مشاركة الكلية في أعمال لجنة النزاهة المركزية بجامعة القاهرة، بمشاركة الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير، والأستاذ الدكتور/ جاكين الجاكي-رئيس لجنة النزاهة العلمية بالكلية ، بما يعكس حرص الكلية على ترسيخ مبادئ الشفافية والحوكمة المؤسسية.

🎉 والأنشطة الترفيهية
ناقش المجلس عدداً من المقترحات الداعمة للرضا الوظيفي لمنسوبي الكلية، شملت التخطيط تلنظيم فعاليات وأنشطة ترفيهية وثقافية، منها حضور أمسية “رضا للفنون الشعبية” بمسرح البالون، وتنظيم رحلات إلى الساحل الشمالي والعين السخنة، مع التأكيد على دعم الطلاب الأوائل وإتاحة المشاركة المجانية لهم في هذه الأنشطة.

✅ اعتماد تشكيل وحدة ضمان الجودة واللوجو الجديد لها
وافق المجلس على اعتماد تشكيل وحدة ضمان الجودة بالكلية، بما يدعم استدامة منظومة الجودة وتحقيق أهداف التطوير المؤسسي ومتطلبات الأيزو، كما وافق المجلس على إصدار اللوجو الجديد للوحدة بما يحقق الهوية البصرية لجامعة القاهرة وكلية الطب البيطري.

👨‍🏫 الموافقة على مذكرات شئون أعضاء هيئة التدريس واعتماد لجان القطاعات المختلفة
كما استعرض المجلس ترقية عدد من أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وأكد الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير حرص إدارة الكلية على دعم الكفاءات الشابة من أعضاء الهيئة المعاونة والعاملين، وتشجيع أصحاب المواهب والمهارات المتميزة في مختلف المجالات، إيماناً بأن الاستثمار في العنصر البشري هو أساس التقدم والتميز. ووافق المجلس على ما يتعلق بشئون أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة واعتمد قرارات لجان التعليم والطلاب والدراسات العليا وخدمة المجتمع.

✨ واختُتمت أعمال المجلس بالتأكيد على استمرار العمل بروح الفريق الواحد لتحقيق رؤية الكلية ورسالتها في التميز الأكاديمي والبحثي وخدمة المجتمع، وتعزيز مكانة كلية الطب البيطري بجامعة القاهرة محلياً وإقليمياً ودولياً.

🏛️ Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Cairo University Council Reviews June 2026 Achievements and Future Development Plans

The Council of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, held its regular meeting on Monday, June 22nd., 2026, chaired by Prof. Ahmed Samir, Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of the Vice Deans, General Dr. Ayman Monir - Manager of Veterinary Services Sector, Armed Forces and Council members. The meeting discussed a number of issues related to academic and research development, community service, and strengthening the Faculty’s role in supporting Egypt’s national vision.

✨ New Hijri Year Greetings
The Council commenced its meeting by extending its sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine family, Cairo University community, and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion of the New Hijri Year 1448 AH, praying for a year filled with prosperity, blessings, progress, and success for Egypt and all members of the University.

🤲 Condolences and Sympathy
Prof. Ahmed Samir, Dean of the Faculty, together with the Council members, expressed their deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of several members of the Faculty community and their family members, praying that Almighty God grants them His mercy and forgiveness and bestows patience and comfort upon their loved ones.

🌟 Honoring the Quality Assurance Team and Strengthening Accreditation Efforts

The Council honored the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Team in recognition of their distinguished efforts in supporting quality and accreditation systems and advancing institutional and academic performance.

🥩 Supporting the Subsidized Meat Initiative

The Council expressed its appreciation to Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, for his support of the subsidized meat initiative, which achieved remarkable success and contributed significantly to easing living burdens and supporting faculty members and employees across Cairo University.

🎉 Remarkable Success of Eid Al-Adha Activities and the University President’s Visit

The Council commended the outstanding success of the Eid Al-Adha celebrations organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, which received direct attendance and follow-up from Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek during his visit to the Faculty on the first day of Eid Al-Adha, reflecting his continuous support for the Faculty’s activities and community initiatives.

The Council also extended its gratitude to faculty members, teaching assistants, and staff who contributed to organizing and supervising the activities throughout the Eid holiday.

Special appreciation was expressed to Prof. Gehan Kassem, Professor and Head of the Department of Food Hygiene and Control, and Dr. Norhan Bahr, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Meat Hygiene and Control, for their effective role in inspecting sacrificial animals during Eid.

The Council also thanked Prof. Nabil Yassin, Professor of Food Hygiene and Control, for delivering an outstanding lecture to the Faculty community on the requirements and health conditions of sacrificial animals prior to Eid Al-Adha.

🌍 Highlighting the Faculty’s Participation in Africa Day

The Council reviewed the Faculty’s participation in Egypt’s Africa Day celebration held at Cairo University, which included an address by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The discussion emphasized the Faculty’s role in attracting international students and strengthening strategic partnerships with African countries and institutions, thereby supporting Egypt’s strategic outreach and promoting scientific and research capacity building.

🔬 Linking Scientific Research to Industry and the Labor Market

Prof. Ahmed Samir emphasized the importance of expanding the linkage between scientific research and the needs of industry and the labor market, in line with Egypt’s Vision for Sustainable Development and the effective utilization of research outputs through practical applications that serve society and the national economy.

🎭 Congratulations to Student Germin Magdy

The Council congratulated Germin Magdy, a second-year student, on successfully passing the selection process and being accepted into the Theater Directing Workshop at the National Theatre under the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, wishing her continued success and excellence.

📝 Smooth Conduct of Second Semester Examinations

The Council praised the smooth organization and successful conduct of the second-semester examinations. Special thanks were extended to Prof. Hisham El-Zorba, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, as well as faculty members, teaching assistants, and staff for their commitment to examination duties, particularly during official holidays.

The Council also expressed its appreciation to Prof. Ahmed Ragab, Vice President of Cairo University for Education and Student Affairs, for his continuous follow-up of examination activities within the Faculty.

🏆 Global Achievement for the Faculty’s International Journal

The Council congratulated the Editorial Team of the Faculty’s international journal on achieving a distinguished global ranking and securing the eighth position worldwide, reflecting the Faculty’s research excellence and international scientific leadership. The Dean emphasized the importance of maintaining this distinguished trajectory.

🐔 Continuation of Poultry Fattening Programs

The Council reviewed the achievements of the poultry fattening programs and affirmed the Faculty’s commitment to their continued development, reinforcing its role as a productive, educational, and research institution serving the community.

⚖️ Participation in the University Scientific Integrity Committee

The Council reviewed the Faculty’s participation in the Central Scientific Integrity Committee at Cairo University, represented by Prof. Ahmed Samir and Prof. Jakeen Eljakee, Chairman of the Faculty’s Scientific Integrity Committee, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to promoting transparency and institutional governance.

🎉 Job Satisfaction and Recreational Activities

The Council discussed several proposals aimed at enhancing job satisfaction among Faculty members and staff, including plans to organize recreational and cultural activities such as attending a “Reda Folkloric Arts” performance at Al-Balloon Theatre and arranging trips to the North Coast and Ain Sokhna.

The Council also emphasized supporting top-performing students by providing them with opportunities to participate in these activities free of charge.

✅ Approval of the Quality Assurance Unit Structure and New Logo

The Council approved the updated structure of the Faculty’s Quality Assurance Unit to support the sustainability of quality systems, institutional development goals, and ISO requirements. It also approved the Unit’s new logo, reflecting the visual identity of Cairo University and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

👨‍🏫 Approval of Faculty Affairs Memoranda and Sector Committee Decisions

The Council reviewed the promotion of several faculty members. Prof. Ahmed Samir reaffirmed the Faculty administration’s commitment to supporting young talents among teaching assistants and staff and encouraging individuals with outstanding skills and talents in various fields, emphasizing that investment in human capital remains the cornerstone of progress and excellence.

The Council also approved matters related to faculty members and teaching assistants and ratified the decisions of the Education and Student Affairs Committee, the Postgraduate Studies Committee, and the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee.

✨ The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Faculty’s commitment to teamwork in achieving its vision and mission of academic excellence, research leadership, community service, and strengthening the position of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, at the local, regional, and international levels.

ومن جانبه، أوضح الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمود السعيد أن الجامعة تستهدف ترسيخ ثقافة النزاهة العلمية والأمانة الأكاديمية وتطوير آليات عمل اللجان المؤسسية المختلفة، بما يسهم في رفع جودة وتأثير الأبحاث العلمية وتعزيز المكانة الإقليمية والدولية لجامعة القاهرة.

وخلال الاجتماع، استعرض الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير الجهود التي تبذلها كلية الطب البيطري في دعم منظومة النزاهة العلمية والالتزام بالمعايير الأخلاقية للبحث العلمي ودعم لجنة النزاهة برئاسة الأستاذة الدكتورة/ جاكين الجاكي، وكذلك لجنة أخلاقيات ورعاية واستخدام الحيوان في البحث العلمي برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور/ أشرف سعدة مؤكدًا أن الكلية تولي اهتمامًا كبيرًا بتطبيق أفضل الممارسات البحثية بما يعزز جودة الإنتاج العلمي ويحافظ على مكانة الكلية وريادتها الأكاديمية والبحثية.

كما استعرضت الأستاذة الدكتورة/ جاكين الجاكي دور لجنة النزاهة العلمية بالكلية في نشر ثقافة الأمانة الأكاديمية ومكافحة الانتحال العلمي وتعزيز الالتزام بالمعايير الأخلاقية في جميع مراحل البحث العلمي، بما يسهم في بناء بيئة بحثية قائمة على الشفافية والمسؤولية.

وشهد الاجتماع الإشادة بالدور الذي تقوم به كلية الطب البيطري من خلال لجنة النزاهة العلمية ولجنة أخلاقيات ورعاية واستخدام الحيوان في البحث العلمي، باعتبارهما من الركائز الأساسية لضمان الالتزام بالمعايير الأخلاقية والمهنية، وحماية حقوق الباحثين، وتحقيق الرفق بالحيوان المستخدم في الأغراض البحثية والتعليمية، بما يدعم جودة المخرجات العلمية ويعزز ثقة المجتمع في البحث العلمي.

Cairo University President Chairs Meeting on Activating the Scientific Integrity Office and Enhancing the Efficiency of Research Ethics Committees with the Participation of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

The University President emphasized “the importance of promoting awareness of research ethics and fostering responsible research practices to enhance the quality and credibility of scientific outputs.”

As part of Cairo University’s commitment to enhancing research quality and reinforcing the principles of academic integrity, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, chaired an expanded meeting to discuss mechanisms for activating the University’s Scientific Integrity Office and improving the efficiency of Research Ethics Committees. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Said, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, along with deans of faculties and coordinators of the relevant committees.

Representing the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine were Prof. Dr. Ahmed Samir, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Jakeen Eljakee, Chair of the Faculty’s Scientific Integrity Committee.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek emphasized that scientific integrity is a fundamental pillar of research excellence and a gateway for Cairo University to achieve greater influence and international leadership. He stressed the importance of raising awareness of research ethics and strengthening responsible research practices to ensure the quality and credibility of scientific outputs.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Said explained that the University seeks to institutionalize a culture of scientific integrity and academic honesty while developing the operational mechanisms of various institutional committees. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Samir reviewed the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s efforts to support scientific integrity and adherence to ethical standards in research, as well as the work of the Animal Care and Use Ethics Committee. He emphasized the Faculty’s strong commitment to implementing best research practices that enhance scientific productivity and maintain the Faculty’s academic and research leadership.

Prof. Dr. Jakeen Eljakee also highlighted the role of the Faculty’s Scientific Integrity Committee in promoting academic honesty, combating plagiarism, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards throughout all stages of scientific research, thereby contributing to a research environment based on transparency and responsibility.

The meeting commended the important role played by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine through its Scientific Integrity Committee managed by Dr. Jakeen and its Animal Care and Use Ethics Committee managed by Dr. Ashraf Seida. These committees serve as essential pillars for ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards, protecting researchers’ rights, and promoting the welfare of animals used in research and education, thereby enhancing the quality of scientific outputs and strengthening public trust in scientific research.

في إطار الحرص على المتابعة المستمرة لسير العملية الامتحانية، وتنفيذا لتوجيهات معالي الأستاذ الدكتور/ محمد سامي عبد الصادق - رئيس جامعة القاهرة بالمتابعة اليقظة واللحظية للعملية الامتحانية، واصل الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير - عميد كلية الطب البيطري، متابعة لجان امتحانات طلاب مرحلة البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا، وذلك رغم تزامن أعمال الامتحانات مع يوم إجازة رسمية، تأكيدًا على اهتمام إدارة الكلية بانتظام العملية الامتحانية وتوفير الأجواء المناسبة للطلاب.

وقد رافق سيادته خلال الجولة الأستاذ الدكتور/ هشام الزربة - وكيل الكلية لشئون التعليم والطلاب، بينما تابعت الأستاذة الدكتورة/ هبة الليثي - وكيل الكلية للدراسات العليا والبحوث، أعمال امتحانات الدراسات العليا تزامنا مع امتحانات مرحلة البكالوريوس.

واطمأن السادة الحضور على انتظام أعمال الامتحانات داخل اللجان، وتوافر كافة الإمكانات والخدمات اللازمة للطلاب، مع التأكيد على الالتزام بالضوابط المنظمة للعملية الامتحانية وتذليل أي معوقات قد تواجه الطلاب أو القائمين على أعمال الامتحانات.

وأكد عميد الكلية أن استمرار المتابعة الميدانية حتى خلال أيام الإجازات الرسمية يعكس حرص الكلية على توفير بيئة امتحانية مناسبة تضمن راحة الطلاب وحسن سير الامتحانات، مشيدًا بالجهود المخلصة التي يبذلها أعضاء هيئة التدريس والجهاز الإداري والعاملون بالكلية.

وفي ختام الجولة، أعرب الأستاذ الدكتور/ أحمد سمير – عميد الكلية، عن خالص الشكر والتقدير والامتنان للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة، والجهاز الإداري والعاملين بالكلية، الذين أدوا مهامهم الامتحانية بكل تفانٍ وإخلاص خلال اليوم، رغم تزامنه مع إجازة رسمية، مؤكدًا أن هذا الالتزام يعكس روح الانتماء والمسؤولية التي يتميز بها منسوبو الكلية، ويجسد نموذجًا مشرفًا للعمل الجماعي والتفاني في خدمة الطلاب والباحثين، بما يضمن انتظام العملية الامتحانية وتحقيق أعلى معايير الجودة والانضباط

As part of the Faculty’s commitment to the continuous monitoring of the examination process, and in implementation of the directives of Prof. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek, President of Cairo University, regarding close and real-time supervision of examinations, Prof. Ahmed Samir, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, continued his inspection tours of both undergraduate and postgraduate examination committees. This follow-up took place despite the examinations coinciding with an official holiday, reflecting the Faculty administration’s dedication to maintaining the smooth conduct of examinations and providing a supportive environment for students.

During the tour, he was accompanied by Prof. Hisham El-Zorba, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, while Prof. Heba El-Laithy, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, simultaneously monitored the postgraduate examinations alongside the undergraduate examination sessions.

The attendees reviewed the progress of examinations within the committees and ensured the availability of all necessary facilities and services for students. Emphasis was placed on adhering to all regulations governing the examination process and promptly addressing any challenges that students or examination staff might encounter.

The Dean emphasized that maintaining on-site supervision even during official holidays reflects the Faculty’s commitment to providing an appropriate examination environment that guarantees students’ comfort and ensures the smooth conduct of examinations. He also praised the sincere efforts exerted by faculty members, administrative staff, and all employees of the Faculty.

At the conclusion of the inspection tour, Prof. Ahmed Samir, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his sincere appreciation, gratitude, and thanks to all faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and employees who carried out their examination duties with dedication, commitment, and professionalism despite the official holiday. He emphasized that such dedication reflects the strong sense of institutional belonging and responsibility that characterizes the Faculty community and represents an outstanding model of teamwork and cooperation in serving students and researchers, while ensuring the smooth conduct of examinations in accordance with the highest standards of quality and discipline.

He also extended his heartfelt wishes for success and excellence to all students and researchers, affirming the Faculty’s continued daily and close monitoring of all examination activities to maintain the highest levels of efficiency, quality, and academic integrity, while providing an appropriate and supportive examination environment for all.
