Hello peopleβοΈπ
As we promised in the previous post here is belowβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ a small brief about the appearance of AE, enjoy ππ
British English vs. American English:
The English language was first introduced to the Americas by British colonization, beginning in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
The language spread to numerous parts of the world as a result of British trade and also colonization which by 1921 ruled approximately quarter of the world,a population of 470-570 people!
By the time and especially over the past 400 years, the form of English especially used in the United States has diverged a lot.
Differences between the two includes pronunciation,Grammer, vocabulary, idioms even the formatting of dates.
Those differences came from Noah Webster who wrote the first American Dictionary published in 1828 which is after the publishing of the " British standard" wrote by Samuel johnon in 1755.
This divergence between both American and British has provided opportunities for comments for example the great novelist George Bernard Shaw said that both United States and United kingdom are two countries divided by a common language also Shakespaere's plays used both before they were standarized to the British English in 1685.
