Rules for "Hard C" and "Soft C"
The letter "c" can make two different sounds: a hard "k" sound or a soft "s" sound.
Hard C (k sound):
When the letter "c" is followed by a, o, u, or any consonant, it makes the "k" sound.
Examples:
* Cake
* Cat
* Can
* Cap
* Cone
* Cup
* Cage
* Cute
* Catch
Soft C (s sound):
When the letter "c" is followed by e, i, or y, it makes the "s" sound.
Examples:
* Cell
* Cinema
* Dance
* Juice
* Cent
* Price
* City
