The Real goal 🥅 🎯
Ramadan is not about hunger 😵‍💫—
it is about transformation.↗️
If fasting does not increase:
💚Your awareness of Allah
💚Your control over desires
💚Your distance from sin
Then its purpose has not been fully realized.
🤍 Reflection Question
Ask yourself daily:
Is my fasting only from food??🤔… or is my heart also fasting from sin?🤍
May Allah grant us true taqwā and allow our fasting to purify our hearts. Ameen

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: دَخَلَ رَمَضَانُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ هَذَا الشَّهْرَ قَدْ حَضَرَكُمْ وَفِيهِ لَيْلَةٌ خَيْرٌ مَنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ مَنْ حُرِمَهَا فَقَدْ حُرِمَ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّهُ وَلَا يُحْرَمُ خَيْرَهَا إِلَّا كل محروم» . رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه

Anas b. Malik told of God’s messenger saying when Ramadan began, “This month has come to you, and it contains a night which is better than a thousand months. He who is deprived of it is deprived of all good, but only those who are denied prosperity are deprived of it."
Ibn Majah transmitted it.

As Muslims,we should know and
realise the Purpose of Fasting🍔🥪🍩❌
Allah ﷻ says:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwā.”(Al-Baqarah 2:183)

So the main purpose is Taqwā, but
What is Taqwā?🌿🤔
Taqwā means to:
🌿protect yourself from the punishment of Allah by:
🔹Avoiding what Allah has prohibited.
🔹Fulfilling what Allah has commanded.
🔹Being constantly mindful that Allah sees you.
🌿It is an inner shield — a protection of the heart🤍 before it becomes protection of the actions🌝.

It was reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever reads Sūrat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, a light will shine for him which extends from him to the Ancient House (i.e., the Kaʿbah).”
Reference:
Sunan al-Darimi 3312; Sunan Al-Bayhaqi 5856; Sahīh al-Targhīb wa at-Tarhīb 736. Note: Jumu’ah is not equivalent to Friday, rather it begins at Maghrib/sunset of Thursday and ends as the maghrib/sunset time comes in on Friday.

Sura Al-Baqara (185),
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ ۖ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ ۗ يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (185)
Ramadān is a month in which the Qur’an was sent down[82] as a guidance for mankind and as clear signs that show the right way and distinguish between right and wrong. So whoever of you witnesses this month, should fast. But if anyone is ill or on a journey, he should make up for those days. Allah wants ease for you and does not want hardship for you, so that you may complete the prescribed number of days, and proclaim the greatness of Allah for having guided you, and so that you may be grateful.
