It means to object the idea or the suggestion after hearing it immediately without thinking .
Exp/
I do not like people who always nix my ideas .I feel that they hate me 😀.


"Let sb down "
To disappoint sb ,kick sb in his /her teeth .

Exp/
After her father had died ,she told her husband "I'm broke ,l 'm in a dire need .Don't let me down "
He looked at her in a pity and said"Don't worry, I 'll never forsake U"

Hello everyone ,today we have a very interesting word which is poker
poker has 2 meanings
1.the game of cards like the picture
EX..I like to play poke ^_^
2.the person who doesn't show any emotion or reaction
EX..He has a poker face .
or he doesn't receive any promotion because he shows a poker face to the customers.

1- "Super bummed "
That means you are very upset or in a bad mode .
Exp/
Yesterday ,I slept late so I got up late .I was super bummed because I missed the sunrise .

2- "I have no place to say "
It means You do not have a good reason to complain about something annoying you.
Exp/
I feel super bummed when I get the lecture late finding the prof explaining something important .But I have no place to say anything because it is my fault not his/her .

3- Agony /means extreme pain you cannot bear it .
Exp
All of us cannot bear the agony of soul's coming out so we should follow our concepts more than now .

Hook up means to make a relationship with someone , to date him or her .
Break off means to break the the relationship ,to end it .

Unfortunately ,there are alot of guys who hook up with girls for a long time then they break off for silly things .
