The 1 year clinical residency program starts on 18/3/2020 and includes 2 theoretical sessions each month, clinical days, full preclinical course with workshops and case discussion seminars. Patients are provided by the dental alliance and essential material for the cases.
The program is overarching from the diagnosis of the cases by taking various records, to recognizing treatment methods and appliances and finally applying that knowledge through various workshops in the preclinical course and then on five different cases throughout the residency.

Preclinical:
1. Introduction and Malocclusion Classifications
2. Etiology of Malocclusions
3. Diagnosis of Orthodontic patient
4. Orthodontic Radiographs (OPG, Cephalometrics and CBCT)
5. Orthodontic Instruments and Materials
6. Fixed Appliances (Treatment steps and archwire sequencing)
7. Anchorage (Intra-oral and Extra-oral anchorage including use of TADS in Orthodontics)
8. Functional Appliances (Management of Class II and Class III growing patients)
Clinical:
1. Class I Malocclusions (Crowding, spacing, bimaxillary proclination)
2. Class II Malocclusions (Management of Class II/1 and Class II/2 malocclusions)
3. Class III Malocclusions
4. Overbite Control (Management of deep bites and AOB)
5. Interceptive Orthodontics
6. Removable Appliances
7. Iatrogenic Effects and Complications of Orthodontic Treatment
8. Retention and Relapse (Removable and fixed)
9. Finishing and Detailing

Prosthetic module sessions in the DGI Implant program in Egypt with Prof Dr. Martin G. Gollner
Prof. Martin G Gollner, originally from Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany, attended the Dental School of University of Freiburg graduating 1998. 2005 he successfully completed his speciality residency in oral surgery and implantology.
Dr. Gollner completed an internship at privat office of Dr. D. Hildebrand, Berlin and residency training in oral surgery at the Charité, University of Berlin.
Since 2005 he maintains a private practice with main focus on implant surgery and implant reconstructions in Bayreuth and taught clinical and technical courses.
In 2007 he established his own dental laboratory (DentalTechnik Bayreuth) and founded 2014 the DentalZentrum of Bayreuth.
He is founder of the DentalForum Institute with courses and lectures to the topic of implant dentistry.
Dr. M. Gollner´s professional membership include the German Society of Implantology (DGI), the German Society of Periodontology and the German Society of Esthetic Dentistry.
He is a member of the advisory board of implant education (DGI) and the director of the ITI Study Club Bayreuth and the Quality Circle of Implantology in north of Franconia.
