It was a great moment when we took our honour shield from Alex Lambert, British Council Deputy Director, and Yosr Gado, Society Programme Manager at the British Council at the Ceremony of Virtuous Alley (VA) Project.

It was an inspirational journey to work with children at the Virtuous Alley, one of the Fadilia Foundation initiatives, to help them know more about entrepreneurship and start a startup that solves community problems.

At first, children were confused about "How can we launch a startup without knowledge at this age; But, after the camp, they came up with 5 startups ideas to solve our community problem, and they were impressed to be able to make that.
Now they aren't children, now they are ENTREPRENEURs. We are very curious and passionate about continues to help them develop their startups to grow up as they.

TechGirls is an international summer exchange program designed to empower and inspire young girls from the Middle East and North Africa to pursue careers in science and technology.

The centerpiece of the program is a weeklong technology camp that provides participants with an in-depth examination of technology-related topics, such as Java programming and mobile application development, and engages them in 45+ hours of hands-on instruction. The camp is complemented by additional activities such as site visits to technology companies, leadership clinics, community service opportunities, job shadowing, and cultural events. As part of program follow-on, the TechGirls implement at least one peer training program or service project within their schools and/or communities.

Eligible candidates:

- Are from one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestinian Territories, and Tunisia;
- Are between the ages of 15 and 17 at the start of the exchange;
- Have demonstrated advanced skills and a serious interest in technology, engineering, and/or math in their academic studies;
- Intend to pursue higher education and/or careers in technology;
- Have strong English language skills;
- Exhibit maturity, flexibility, and open-mindedness;
- Will attend at least one additional semester of secondary school upon their return to their home country; and
- Are committed to completing a follow-on project upon their return home

Selection Timeline

The 2018 TechGirls application opened on April 9, 2018 and closes at 09:00PM EST on April 25, 2018. Semifinalists will be contacted via email in/around May 10. Final decisions will be made no later than June 1, 2018. All applicants will be notified of the results of their application.

ElMo3sker Internship Program is offering a 3-month internship which provides targeted youth with the essential technical and interpersonal skills and facilitates opportunities for them to learn & apply practically through a real exciting work experience.

Imagine hearing the roars of DIY-made cars competing, and walk south into an alternate world of a cosplayers’ convention.. If you’re smelling the chemicals reacting and shooting up to the sky, then you’ve definitely just passed by the Super Science Show. And no you’re not hallucinating; those are real-life Robots, in a real-life fight.

هل يمكن لطفلي أن يكون عبقرياً ؟! 💡
قديماً كان يعتقد أن العبقرية لا يمكن إكتسابها و إنما هي نتيجة جينات وراثية ، إلا أن العلم قد أثبت عكس ذلك ، وهو أن العقل البشري قد يصل إلى العبقرية إذا عمل الإنسان على تطويره و عمل بجد و إجتهاد ..
لكن ما هي العبقرية إذاً ؟
هي تمتع الإنسان بقدرة ذهنية عالية تساعده على تحقيق إنجازات باهرة
أما الذكاء .. فليس له معنى محدد إذ أن للذكاء أنواع متعددة حيث أن لكل فرد ذكاء خاص به و يمكن صقله و تنميته ليصل إلى العبقرية
فمن أنواع الذكاء ..
_ الذكاء العاطفي : و هو القدرة على تنمية الشخص لذاته من شعوره بالأمل و ما إلى ذلك
_ الذكاء الروحي : و هو مالا يتعلق بالكلام أو الفعل لكن يتعلق بالتقبل الروحي للشخص و هو ما يكون عند أغلب القادة و رجال الدين
_ الذكاء الحدسي : أو ما يسمى بالحاسة السادسة و هو قدرة الشخص على التنبؤ بالأحداث بدون تفسير لذلك
و السؤال هنا كيف يتم تحويل الذكاء إلى عبقرية ؟!
يرتبط هذا بالرغبة الجامحة عند الطفل بالتعلم و هو ما يتعلق بالتربية
ونذكر هنا مثال على أب يدعى نازلوبوجار الذي اتفق مع زوجته على تعليم بناته الثلاثة على فنون لعبة الشطرنج منذ نعومة أظفارهن ، ليتم إختيارهم مستقبلاً ضمن أفضل عشر لاعبات شطرنج على مستوى العالم 👌🏻
و هذا ما قال عنه توماس إيدسون .. العبقرية 1% إلهام و 99% نتاج لجد و إجتهاد و مثابرة .
حيث أن التربية الصحيحة منذ نعومة الأظفار هي ما تكسب الطفل القدرة على أن يكون عبقرياً
و هو ما يتعلق بقدرة الأبوين على مساعدة أطفالهم على التعرف على نوع الذكاء الذي يمتلكه أطفالهم بالإضافة إلى إكتشاف مواهبهم الجامحة و تكريس الوقت لتدريبهم ، فإن علامات العبقرية ستظهر عليهم لا محالة
يقول سقراط .. إعرف نفسك و ما نحن إلا نتاج ما نفعله مراراً و تكراراً
و نحن نقول هنا إعرف طفلك 😃
إن الجهل بملكات الطفل و عدم إستثمار هذه الملكات هو العائق لوصول الطفل مستقبلاً إلى العبقرية
و قد رأينا في المدارس كيف يتم تمييز الطفل صاحب الذكاء اللغوي و الحسابي ، لكن أين ذهبت بقية الملكات و القدرات الذكائية ..
فبذلك نقتل إبداعهم فنجعلهم يطلقون قدراتهم في المجال الذي إخترناه نحن لهم و نوقعهم في نفس الفخ الذي وقعنا فيه سابقاً ، وهو ما يعيق التقدم
حيث يتم التركيز على نقاط الضعف عند الطفل و التغلب عليها ، متناسين نقاط القوة و تطويرها و جعلهم يتميزون بها ..
يقول إينشتاين { كل إنسان عبقري ولكن ، إذا حكمنا على سمكة بقدرتها على تسلق الأشجار ستعيش طوال حياتها تعتقد أنها فاشلة }
فلا تستهن بقدرة طفلك مهما كانت محدودة ، فكلٌ مُيسر لما خُلق له .

"طفل اليوم هو رائد أعمال الغد"..
إيماناً منا بهذا المبدأ قررنا نعمل معسكر ريادي للأطفال نحاول إننا نساعدهم يكتشفوا شغفهم وموهبتهم ويخرجوا بأفكار لمشاريع مجتمعية تهدف لتطوير وصقل مواهبهم بالإضافة إلى العائد المجتمعي
وبالفعل خرج 3 مشاريع من معسكر بالتعاون مع جمعية رسالة فرع حلوان

وعدد أعضاء المشروع(5) أفراد و المشروع بيتكلم عن تجديد وتلوين المناطق علشان تكون بشكل أفضل
تاني مشروع صحتي..
وعدد أعضاء المشروع(4) أفراد وهو بيهتم بتنمية الوعي بالرعاية الصحية

تالت مشروع منطقتي..
و مكون من (3) أفراد و بيهدف المشروع إلى تنمية وتطوير المناطق العشوائية

وما يزال الأطفال شغالين على مشاريعهم وهيكون لينا معاهم لقاء مصور قريباً علشان يشاركوكم تجربتهم وتعرفوا وصلوا لحد فين

يا ترى حد سأل نفسه الإحتفالات دي ليه ? وليه النهاردة بالذات?!!

النهاردة اليوم العالمي للطفل أو ما يعرف ب "يوم الطفل"
وهو اليوم اللي أعلنت فيه الأمم المتحدة قانون حقوق الطفل لأول مرة في عام 1989 ووقع على الإتفاقية دي 191 دولة حول العالم

يعني اليوم دا بيحتفل بيه 191 دولة 😮
أكيد ، ودا بيتم عن طريق تنظيم العديد من الفاعليات و الأنشطة ففي عام 2010 نشرت "اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر" منشورات وكتيبات عن الأطفال والحرب ، تتناول هذه المنشورات المخاطر التي يواجهها الأطفال المتأثرين بالنزاع المسلح ، والتدابير المتخذة لتلبية احتياجات هؤلاء الأطفال، وكذلك القوانين التي تعطيهم حماية خاصة .
و بمناسبة الحدث دا كمان ، قامت جمعية "هومانيوم" رسميا بفتح بوابة إلكترونية للأطفال. هذا الموقع الإلكتروني يوفر الوصول إلى ثروة من المعلومات والموارد عن حقوق الطفل.
المعسكر حب يشارك وينشر عن اليوم دا إيماناً منه بدعم ومساندة الأطفال حول العالم لأخذ كامل حقوقهم 🙂

اتكلمنا امبارح عن الأسبوع العالمي لريادة الأعمال والنهاردة هنتكلم عن دور مصر في الأسبوع دا في 2017 😃

مصر من الدول اللي بتهتم بتطوير و دعم مجال ريادة الأعمال ، ففي 2017 انضمت 15 ألف منظمة للمشاركة في الأسبوع دا واللي بيمتد من 14:20 نوفمبر
الفاعليات كانت ما بين مسابقات وتسليم جوائز وورش عمل ومؤتمرات ومنتديات
ويظل الهدف الرئيسي من الأسبوع دعم جميع رواد الأعمال المبتكرين على اختلاف أعمارهم وأفكارهم
