Why Your Irrigation May Be Failing Even If You Use NaOCl Correctly
The biggest hidden problem in root canal irrigation is not the solution… it’s the air.
Key Point
Closed root canal systems develop a v***r lock in the apical third → preventing irrigants from reaching the apex.
What this means clinically:
* Even with NaOCl + activation → apical cleaning may be incomplete
* Ultrasonics alone cannot fully overcome v***r lock
Clinical Tip
* Use 30G needle close to working length
* Move the needle dynamically
* Consider apical negative pressure systems
