Stepping into the role of real estate brokers, our MYP1 students applied their prior mathematical knowledge to a real-life property project. Using accurate calculations and clear communication, they demonstrated how mathematics supports real-world decision-making, reflecting their achievement in Criteria C and D.

يُعد تعجيل الإفطار بشيء خفيف (كالتمر أو الماء) عند غروب الشمس مباشرة، ثم صلاة المغرب، ثم إكمال الإفطار، من سنن النبي ﷺ وآداب الصيام المستحبة. يجمع هذا التصرف بين تعجيل الفطر الذي حث عليه الحديث "لا يزال الناس بخير ما عجلوا الفطر"، وبين أداء الصلاة في وقتها.

جزاء من فطّر صائماً أنه يأخذ مثل أجر الصائم تماماً دون أن ينقص من أجر الصائم شيء، وذلك لقول النبي ﷺ: «من فطّر صائمًا كان له مثل أجره، غير أنه لا ينقص من أجر الصائم شيئًا». ويعد هذا العمل من القربات العظيمة التي تحقق المغفرة والعتق من النار، ويحصل الأجر ولو بشربة ماء أو تمرة.

يبدأ وقت الصيام من طلوع الفجر الصادق (أذان الفجر) وينتهي بغروب الشمس (أذان المغرب)، حيث يمتنع الصائم عن الطعام والشراب والمفطرات خلال هذه الفترة. هذا هو الإجماع الشرعي، ولقوله تعالى: {وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ ۖ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّوا الصِّيَامَ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ}

La préparation de la nourriture et sa distribution aux personnes dans le besoin est un acte profondément humanitaire et essentiel dans nos sociétés. Elle incarne la solidarité et l'empathie envers ceux qui souffrent de la faim ou de la pauvreté. À travers des initiatives de banques alimentaires, de soupes populaires ou de repas communautaires, des bénévoles s'engagent à cuisiner avec soin des plats nutritifs, souvent à partir d'ingrédients récupérés ou donnés. Offrir un repas chaud à quelqu'un peut non seulement apaiser sa faim, mais également lui apporter réconfort et dignité. Cette démarche démontre que prendre soin des autres enrichit nos vies et renforce le tissu social, rappelant ainsi que chacun mérite de se sentir soutenu et valorisé. Donner à manger aux autres est un geste simple, mais qui a un impact incommensurable sur la communauté.
