🚀 Shaping the Future with AI in Architecture
We are proud to celebrate the success of our students in the DE-Lab Class of 2025 with their groundbreaking graduation project — Independent Community for the Future: Cellular Desert Colony.

This project demonstrates the power of AI-driven design workflows to transform visionary concepts into functional, sustainable, and adaptable communities. Congratulations to our students for leading the way in merging technology and creativity in architectural innovation. 👏🤖🏛️

We are pleased to highlight the achievements of the CITY Pixels project, developed at DE-Lab, Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.
CITY Pixels is an interactive 3D physical modeling platform designed to support real-time, data-driven management of urban environments. The system integrates modular 3D-printed units, advanced electronics, and digital analytics, enabling planners and stakeholders to visualize, analyze, and optimize city scenarios for smarter and more sustainable urban development.
Key outcomes include:
• Development of a scalable, interactive hardware-software system for urban analysis.
• Real-time evaluation of urban metrics and scenario simulation.
• Successful application in a real-world case study (Heliopolis).
• Publication of three international, Scopus-indexed research papers.
This project was made possible by the support of the Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority (STIFA) under the Applied Sciences Research Grants (Call 1). We extend our sincere thanks to the project team for their dedication and innovation.
