The BLACK_BOX Web CTF brought participants into a high-intensity cybersecurity challenge, where they raced against time to uncover vulnerabilities and capture hidden flags.

From diving into web security fundamentals to tackling real-world exploitation scenarios, competitors pushed their skills to the limit—breaking through layers and climbing the leaderboard with every solved challenge.

What to Expect:
A high-impact intro to web security fundamentals, followed by real-world exploitation challenges where you’ll hunt for 4 hidden flags — each one proving you’ve broken through another layer. Rankings will depend on both accuracy and speed, so every second counts.

Our four-day Induction Week at the BUE library area offered students a closer look into the IEEE BUE Student Branch and our upcoming projects.

From interacting with our crowd-pleasing robot, SEMSEM, to attending an introductory lecture on the global IEEE organization, the event sparked curiosity and great conversations about technology.

The week provided insights into our community and connected us with passionate new applicants from diverse academic disciplines across the university.

Our visit to Iskraemeco Egypt, a subsidiary of ElSewedy Electric, offered participants a closer look into the world of smart energy solutions and advanced metering technologies. From exploring real production facilities to understanding how engineering concepts are applied in industry, the trip provided insights and a deeper connection to the professional field.

From zero to competitive-ready🔥,
Over the course of this crash course, participants went through a complete journey, building strong foundations in Python and advancing all the way to solving complex algorithmic problems.
