🌙 The Night of the 15th of Sha‘ban
Not all nights are the same.

On this night, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that Allah looks upon His creation with mercy and forgiveness—
forgiving all,
except those who associate partners with Him
or carry hatred within their hearts.
A simple but powerful reminder:

💚 A sincere heart is the path to closeness with Allah
This night is not about many actions,
but about sincere turning.
A heart that whispers:
“O Allah, I need Your mercy.”
Let us receive this night with: Quiet remembrance
Honest repentance
Sincere du‘ā’
And hearts freed from resentment and grudges
Sha‘ban is not just a month we pass through—
it is preparation for Ramadan.
May Allah purify our hearts, fill them with light and tranquility,
and allow us to reach Ramadan with hearts at peace 🤍

Teach your child not to leave Allah's blessings for Satan. 🤚

On the authority of Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Satan is present with any one of you in everything he does, even when he is eating his meal. If a morsel falls from any one of you, let him remove any harmful thing from it and then eat it, and not leave it for Satan. When he finishes, let him lick his fingers, for he does not know in which part of his food the blessing lies." 📖 [Sahih Muslim]

🔸 Many children today easily throw away food… and leave what falls as if it were worthless.

🔹 It is our duty to teach them that food is a blessing (Ni'mah), and that blessing (Barakah) may be found in the simplest morsel.

And that we do not abandon the blessings of Allah, even if they fall to the ground, for the Prophet ﷺ never did so.

At Shafee' Academy, we teach our children adab (etiquette) towards blessings… and that barakah is not in the quantity, but in respecting the gift.

📌 Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "The Prophet ﷺ, when he went to his bed every night, would cup his hands together, blow lightly into them, and recite into them: Surah Al-Ikhlas (Say, "He is Allah, the One"), Surah Al-Falaq (Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak"), and Surah An-Nas (Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind"). Then he would wipe over with them as much of his body as he could, starting with his head and face and the front of his body. He would do this three times."
