On April 27th, 2026, the Department of Applied Linguistics and Educational Studies proudly hosted the Annual STEAM Showcase Night. The event highlighted the incredible dedication, creativity, and hard work of students and teachers from different schools. It was inspiring to see innovation and collaboration come to life.

- دبلوم التربوي لمعلم العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والعلوم الإنسانية والرياضيات
(STEAM)
- دبلوم التربوي المتخصص في تعليم الطفولة المبكرة (CELE)

شروط المنحة:
- أن يكون المرشح/ة يعمل بمدرسة حكومية تابعة لإحدى الإدارات التعليمية بجميع محافظات مصر.
- أن يكون المرشح/ة على رأس العمل (داخل مدرسة حكومية فقط) وخصوصا عند التخرج من الدبلومة حيث ستتم متابعة أداء المرشح/ة بمدرسته/ا بعد التخرج.
- استيفاء الأوراق المطلوبة بالكامل حيث لن يلتفت للطلبات غير المكتملة أو غير الواضحة.
- ألا يكون المرشح/ة قد حصل على منحة سابقة تابعة لقسم اللغويات التطبيقية والدراسات التربوية بالجامعة الأمريكية من قبل.

الأوراق المطلوبة:
- نسخة من شهادة التخرج الجامعية ويمكن إضافة شهادات للدراسات العليا (إن وجدت)
- نسخة من بطاقة الرقم القومي للمرشح/ة (كلا الجانبين)
- بيان حالة (مدرس/موظف) صحيفة أحوال صادرة من وزارة التربية والتعليم ومختومة منها
- إفادة من المدرسة الحكومية التابع لها المرشح/ة ببيانات المرشح وبعمله/ها في المدرسة
- خطاب ترشيح صادر من المدرسة للمرشح/ة بحضور الدبلومة
- إقرار من المرشح/ة بالإلتزام بالمنحة ومتطلباتها ومواعيدها وتحمل ما يترتب من أثار نتيجة الإخلال بذلك
- الحصول على مستوي (B1A) من خلال اختبار تحديد المستوى الخاص بكلية التعليم المستمر بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة على أن يتم إرفاق النتيجة التي ترسلها كلية التعليم المستمر بالبريد الإلكتروني بالطلب مع صورة من كارت التقديم للامتحان بداخله رقم الطالب AUC ID. في حال عدم اجتياز المستوى المطلوب، سيتم الالتحاق بدورة اللغة الإنجليزية كأحد متطلبات الدبلومة، وهي مغطاة من قِبل المنحة.

In cooperation with ExxonMobil Egypt, the Department of Applied Linguistics and Educational Studies at the American University in Cairo is pleased to announce the availability of a number of scholarships for teachers in one of the following tracks:

- Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM)
- Teaching Early Years Learners (CELE)

:Grant Requirements
The candidate (teacher) must be work for a public school affiliated to any of the educational directorates in any governorate across Egypt.
- The candidate must be a current and active public school teacher. The teacher's performance will be followed up at his/her school after graduation
- The candidate has not previously received a grant from the Department of Applied Linguistics and Educational Studies, AUC

:Documents Required
- A copy of the university degree certificate + post-graduate studies certificates (if any)
- A copy of valid national ID (both sides)
- A statement of condition issued and sealed by the Ministry of Education
- A statement of the candidate's information issued and sealed by the school
- ِA recommendation letter from the school approving the candidate to join the diploma
- A statement by the candidate acknowledging his/her commitment to the grant including abiding by the course dates, times and locations as well as acknowledging risks/responsibilities results from preaching the grant requirements
- Pass the English Language exam - The minimum cut-off score for the diploma acceptance is B1A from the School of Continuing Education (SCE), AUC. In case the required level is not achieved, the applicant will be required to enroll in an English language course as a requirement for joining the diploma and the English course is covered by the scholarship.
