The student team from AUC has officially been crowned champions, securing First Place and a $5,000 grand prize.
The prestigious global award was presented by the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), under the supervision of Mohamed Abdel-Kader Basyouni.

Congratulations to the winning team members: Haitham Al-Oqab, Malek Jassar, Mohamed Hamouda, Youssef Rebahei and Adam Abriach for this incredible global achievement!

Assistant professor Brenda Segone explores the limits of AI in art, showing that while machines can mimic styles, they lack the perspective, emotion and intention that make human creations meaningful.
She encourages students to use AI as a tool, not a replacement and to keep developing their own artistic voices.
