We are delighted to share that our esteemed faculty member, Dr. Omnia Salah Eldin Attia, Program Leader of BA (Hons) Digital Media Design at the School of Humanities & Creative Arts, has been officially invited to participate in the international cultural exchange project, "WE – Women in Exchange – Cultural Codings," organized by the Women's Museum Bonn in Germany.

Bringing together 14 distinguished female artists from Egypt and Germany, the project fosters intercultural dialogue, artistic collaboration, and creative exchange. As part of this prestigious initiative, Dr. Omnia will take part in the artist collaboration programme, culminating in the exhibition "Kairo am Rhein | Cairo on the Rhine," held at the Women's Museum Bonn from 19 July to 15 August 2026.

This remarkable achievement reflects the international impact of our academic community and reinforces our commitment to creativity, innovation, and global engagement. Congratulations, Dr. Omnia, on this well-deserved recognition. We wish you every success in representing Egyptian art and UH-GAF on the international stage.

From Classroom Practice to High-Performance Sports Medicine

For Seif Gasser, choosing the UK-accredited Physiotherapy program at UH meant completing over 1,000 placement hours across major hospitals before graduation. That practical edge allowed him to step seamlessly into his role as a Doctor at RE Sport Hub , working directly with national team athletes.

Our Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics students continue to push the boundaries of innovation through projects that combine creativity, technical expertise, and real-world impact.

In this project, Jessica Sameh developed a Hybrid Solar–Wind Off-Grid Charging Station to provide a sustainable charging solution for urban mobility. By integrating solar energy with vehicular-induced wind energy, the system maximizes renewable energy utilization while reducing dependence on conventional power sources.

The station includes battery storage for reliable off-grid operation and IoT-based real-time monitoring, showing how renewable energy, smart technologies, and sustainable engineering come together. This innovative project highlights the potential of clean energy solutions in supporting a greener and more efficient future for urban transportation.
