KEY Career Development Center's branch at Cairo University.
Based on the belief that the academic experiences of graduates is not sufficient in preparing them to meet the requirements of the dynamic job market, the EJB (Egyptian Junior Business Association) has been developing a multi-faceted, early intervention program, the KEY program, that would offer undergraduates an interactive learning experience to enhance their technical, soft and hard skills needed to fulfill the criteria of the job market.
• Provide, on- and off-campus, quality content training focused on developing the undergraduates’ technical, hard and soft skills.
• Link graduates to real employment opportunities, by developing/ launching a recruitment service.
• Promote On-going activities to encourage undergraduates’ ethical, social and intellectual development, as well as their commitment to pro-social values, Activities will include:
– Seminars,
– Community service/charity activities,
– Discussion groups – book reviews,
– Socio-economic issues,
– Career advising sessions
• Secure mentored, objective-based internships in reputable companies, with the objectives of providing undergraduates with the needed technical insight and hands-on experience, exposing them to the future working environments and job requirements they are seeking, as well as offering the companies the opportunity to become acquainted with potential future employees.
• Serve as an “information point”, disseminating information on all training, workshop, seminar, internship and other career- and self- development opportunities available, through offering communication tools to provide undergraduates with career development and job opportunity information.
We are a team of undergraduates, recent graduates and company executives working together to achieve one specific goal, which is to uplift the quality of university graduates.
