فنون مع الأداء العالمي والتوعية والإرشاد وأنشطة الإنتاج الفني. أطلق صاحب السمو الآغاخان برنامج آغاخان للموسيقى لدعم الموسيقيين الموهوبين، ومعلمي الموسيقى الذين يعملون على الحفاظ على تراثهم الموسيقي ونقله وتطويره في أشكال معاصرة.
تهدف مدرسة الدرب الأحمر للفنون ومشروع أسوان للموسيقى إلى تعليم الأطفال والشباب الموسيقى بالمجان، وذلك من أجل خلق فرص عمل لهم في المستقبل كفنانين. كما توفر الفنون للشباب فرصة لاستكشاف تراثهم الثقافي والتواصل معه، إلى جانب إنشاء مسارات لمستقبل واعد جديد. حيث، غالبًا ما يتم استبعاد الشباب من تلك الفرص بسبب نقص الأموال أو خوفًا من أنهم لن يصلوا إلى عمل ذي جدوى مالية. من خلال برامج التدريب على الفنون الشاملة المفتوحة للجميع تهدف مدرسة الدرب الأحمر للفنون ومشروع أسوان للموسيقي إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بقيمة الفنون ودورها في التنمية المجتمعية والاقتصادية، وتوفير سبل نحو عمل هادف.
- مدرسة الدرب الأحمر للفنون تقوم بتدريب الطلاب الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 12 و18 عامًا من سكان منطقة الدرب الاحمر على العزف على الإيقاع، الآلات النحاسية التي تتضمن ساكسفون، ترومبيت، ترومبون وكلارينت، علاوة على ذلك وفي بداية عام 2020 تم إضافة التدريب على الأكورديون والعود بالإضافة إلى تعليم النوتة الموسيقي وذلك من خلال إطار منهجي.
- مشروع أسوان الموسيقي يستهدف الأطفال من سن 12 عام والشباب حتى سن 25 عامًا، مقدمًا دروسًا في الموسيقى العربية والمصرية والأسوانية التقليدية، مع التركيز على العود والإيقاع واحياء آلة الطنبور تصنيع وعزف. وفي بداية عام 2020، تم إضافة آلات النفخ الخشبية مثل الناي، الكولة والأرغول.
تم إنشاء كلا المشروعين بمشاركة كاملة من المجتمعات التي صمما لخدمتها. إلى جانب برنامج آغا خان للموسيقى فإن المشروعان بدعم من السفارة السويسرية في مصر وبالتعاون مع مؤسسة أم حبيبة ومؤسسة الآغا خان - مصر. House of Arts and Culture
House of Arts and Culture (دارالفنون الثقافة) is an administrative entity established by the Aga Khan Music Programme to manage and operate its projects in Egypt: Al Darb Al Ahmar Arts School and Aswan Music Project. Aga Khan Music Programme – AKMP is an interregional music and arts education programme with worldwide performance, outreach, mentoring, and artistic production activities. The Aga Khan Music Programme was launched by His Highness the Aga Khan to support talented musicians and music educators working to preserve, transmit, and further develop their musical heritage in contemporary forms. Al Darb Al Ahmar Arts School (DAAS) and Aswan Music Project (AMP) are devoted to educating Egyptian youth free of charge in artistic disciplines that can lead to future employment opportunities as performing artists. The arts offer youth a chance to explore and connect with their cultural heritage while creating pathways to promising new futures. Yet all too often young people are excluded from those opportunities for lack of funds or out of fear that they will not lead to financially viable work. Through inclusive arts training programmes open to all, DAAS and AMP serve several functions: they raise the level of awareness of the value of the arts and its role in the community and economic development, and they provide avenues towards meaningful work.

- Al Darb Al Ahmar Arts School serves students aged 1-18 from Al Darb Al Ahmar district through its vocational approach to arts training. Classes are offered in percussion, brass instruments “Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet”, in 2020 the project includes Accordion, Oud and Solfege.

- Aswan Music Project provides young people up to the age of 25 with classes in traditional Arab, Egyptian, and Aswanese music, focusing on Oud, Percussion, and Tanbour. In 2020, classes will be offered in traditional woodwind instruments such as Nay, Kawala, and Arghul. Both projects were established with full involvement of the communities they are designed to serve. Besides Aga Khan Music Programme, these projects are supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Egypt in cooperation with Om Habibeh Foundation and the Aga Khan Foundation – Egypt.
