We want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on an exceptional leader—Abdelrehman Akram, CFA!

Abdelrahman Akram, CFA is an experienced investment and treasury professional with over eight years of experience across banking, treasury, and asset management. He currently works as an Assistant Manager in the Treasury and Capital Markets Sector at Société Arabe Internationale de Banque (SAIB), where he is actively engaged in treasury functions and financial market activities.

Throughout his professional career, Abdelrahman has conducted extensive quantitative and qualitative assessments covering financial institutions and sovereigns, and has managed fixed-income portfolios for institutional investors and governmental entities. He has also been actively involved in managing business relationships with global banks, development finance institutions (DFIs), and international credit rating agencies, providing him with broad exposure to both local and international financial markets.

In parallel, Abdelrahman is a member of CFA Society Egypt and the CFA Institute, having been actively involved with the Society for nearly a decade. Over the years, he has played a leading role across several key committees, where he drives and coordinates major initiatives, including the CFA Institute Research Challenge, the Career Development Committee, and the CFA Ambassadors Initiative, in addition to being a member of the CFA Scholarship Committee.

He also holds the FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) designation and is a CFA Instructor, actively contributing to the CFA InvestStudy Initiative by supporting candidates through knowledge sharing, academic guidance, and exam-oriented preparation.

Through his combined experience in financial markets, professional education, and community engagement, Abdelrahman continues to contribute to developing future finance professionals and strengthening the link between academic learning and real-world market practice.
