Founded: Founded in Egypt by decree of Sultan Ahmed Fouad at 07.12.1920 with a capital of 25 thousand Egyptian pounds , and amended the statute of the company and in accordance with the provisions of the law of public sector companies No. 203 of 1991 and its implementing regulations . Capital:
Authorized capital of 1500 million pounds and 750 million pounds The issued and paid distributed over 50 million shares, the value of each share fully paid 15 pounds ( all the company's shares nominal )
55 % of the total shares owned by the state , represented by the Holding Company for Chemical Industries , 5.5 % Federation of company shareholders and 39.5 % companies , banks and public and private investment funds and members of the Egyptians and foreigners. Duration of the company :
Fifty years starting from the date of 12.27.1992 re- registered under Commercial Registration . Purposes of the company :
- Industry and Trade fumes , products and accessories.
- Engage in any investment activity or financial or commercial , industrial or agricultural or service
- Owns real estate and construction and the purchase and division of land for the purposes of exploitation or lease or sale.
- Import, export and commercial agencies .
- Establish or participate in establishing or buy businesses or contribute to and which it is carried inside or outside the Arab Republic of Egypt none of the purposes of the company , or may cooperate on the investigation or development of any of its purposes , and after the approval of the holding company .
- Succumb to the provisions of the law of public sector companies No. 203 of 1991 and its implementing regulations .

تاريخ التأسيس : تأسست في مصر بمرسوم من السلطان أحمد فؤاد في 12/7/1920 برأس مال قدره 25 ألف جنيه مصري ، وعُدل النظام الأساسي للشركة وفقاً لأحكام قانون شركات قطاع الأعمال العام رقم 203 لسنة 1991 ولائحته التنفيذية .
