We were delighted to welcome Dr. Salwa Rashad, Secretary General of the Council of Foreign University Branches. The visit was attended by Dr. Magdy El Kady, UCE Chair of Board, Dr. Ramy Sallam, UCE President, and Dr. Hadia Hamdy, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

During her visit, she engaged in meaningful discussions with the university leadership and met with the deans to explore topics related to international higher education, collaboration, and the evolving role of foreign university branches in Egypt. She also toured the campus to get a closer look at our facilities and student experience.

Her visit brought thoughtful perspective and reinforced shared commitments to advancing international higher education in Egypt.

With profound sadness, the Universities of Canada announce the passing of Prof. Yasser Sakr, President of The Knowledge Hub, on September 29, 2025.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, students, and all who were touched by his remarkable leadership and inspiring life. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Our ultimate Staff Funday was all about good vibes, fun games, and making memories together.

The Library Training Program has officially launched at the Universities of Canada in Egypt — thanks to the incredible efforts of Mr. Khaled and Ms. Esraa from the UCE Library team!
In just the first week, participants gained hands-on experience in:
🔹 Cataloging & shelving
🔹 Library policies & acquisitions
🔹 OPAC, Koha system & EBSCO
🔹 Report writing & digital libraries
They also developed key soft skills — including communication, problem-solving, and teamwork — through real-life scenarios that brought learning to life.
This initiative is more than training — it’s a launchpad for future professionals.
