The nights were not made for you to sleep,
Your hifdh is weakening and so is your imaan,
Your relationship with the Quran is falling apart and yet you sleep and rest,
Your heart wants the quran and yet you sleep and rest,
It hurts you that you no longer sit with the Quran and yet you sleep and rest,
Your brain is slowly forgetting the ayaat and yet you sleep and rest,
Is this why you memorised the Quran?
To leave and forget!

The heart dies, and the Qur’an becomes heavy upon it; thus, he forsakes it for a long lifetime!

So do not forget your daily portion of the Qur’an. And whatever you wasted yesterday and in what has passed, rectify it today and remain steadfast.”

How to memorize the Quran?

 *Invocation of Tahajjud*
_This is Du'a Istiftaah. To be recited in Salah after saying Allahu Akbar._

Ibn Abbaas ( ra) narrated:
Whenever the Prophet of Allaah (saw) got up to perform Tahajjud, he used to say:
*اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ*
O Allah! All the praise are for You,
*أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ*
You are the Sustainer and Protector of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is in them
*وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ*

And All the praises are for You; to You belong the Heavens and the Earth and whatever is in them,
*وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ*

And all praise are for you ; You are the Light of the heavens and the earth,
*وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُٰ أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ*
And all praise are for you ; You
Are the King of the heavens and the earth ,
*وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ*
And all the praise are for you; You are the Truth, and Your Promise is the truth,
*وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ*
the meeting with You is true,
*وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ*
Your words are true,
*وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ*
And the paradise is true,
*وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ*
And the Hell is true,
*وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ*
And all the prophets ( peace be upon all of them) are true,
*وَ مُحَمَّدٌ.[ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم ] حَقٌّ*
And Muhammad (saw) is true,
*وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ*
And the Hour is true,
*اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ. أَسْلَمْتُ وَ بِكَ آمَنْتُ* ،
O Allah! I surrender to You and I believe in You4,
*وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ*
And upon You I depend and to You I turn in repentance
*وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ*
And with Your Help I argue ( with my opponents, the disbelievers) and I take You as my Judge ( to Judge between us).
*فَاغْفِرْلِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ*
Forgive me my past and future sins,
*وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ* ،
And whatever I concealed and whatever I revealed,
