The workshops' success and popularity with both local and international students, pushed Azza Fahmy Jewellery to create DSAF. With DSAF, applied students become a part of Azza Fahmy's contribution to the Arts industry in Egypt. By providing an academic space whereby interested students can grow their jewellery-making skills and become their own independent brands, DSAF also provides a more secured career path in jewellery design and entrepreneurship in Egypt. DSAF' academic merger with renowned Italian Contemporary Jewellery School, "Alchimia", guarantees that students receive the know-how from European jewelry experts and artists. Furthermore, students who apply to DSAF have the opportunity to attend "Alchimia" in Florence, Italy for an extended educational program- applying global standards and international market guidelines to their education. DSAF basic academic profile offers a 3 year program in traditional silversmithing techniques and contemporary jewelry design, as well as the key requisites for becoming an independent artist/brand.
