One Community, One Vision: The 1st Egyptian SIGHT Annual Meeting! 🌟

​What an unforgettable day at AASTMT Sheraton! For the first time ever, SIGHT groups from all over the IEEE Egypt Section gathered to celebrate our collective impact.

​Organized under the umbrella of IEEE SIGHT Egypt and IEEE AAST cairo sight group, this meeting was more than just a series of presentations—it was a celebration of hard work and a brainstorming session for a better tomorrow.

​The highlights:

✅ We shared roadmaps and action plans for next year’s activities to ensure even greater impact.

🌱✨ Inspiring Young Minds Through Engineering & Sustainability! ✨🌱

In collaboration with City Club, IEEE SIGHT Egypt had the pleasure of participating in a wonderful initiative aimed at teaching children the importance of agriculture and sustainable practices,
and the aligns with IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) mission to work with local communities and apply technology for sustainable development

We took this opportunity to introduce the kids to the engineering side of agriculture, guiding them through building a simple automated irrigation system using soil sensors, water pumps, and a microcontroller. The children were incredibly interactive and curious — and they didn’t just learn how to build the system, but also understood how it connects to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially those related to agriculture and water.

A huge thank you to City Club for this amazing collaboration! Together, we're planting seeds of innovation and awareness in the next generation.
