The ‘Science and Discovery Festival’ aims at demonstrating & reflecting on innovative ways of thinking, learning and living while probing new ideas.
Within the Framework of the EU-Egypt Year of Science and Innovation 2012, the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Programme that lies under the Ministry of Scientific Research and is funded by the EU, is organizing for the second year in cooperation with El Sawy CultureWheel the ‘Science and Discovery Festival’ from 24 – 26 March 2012 at El Sawy CultureWheel. صباح الخير :) النهاردة أخر يوم للمهرجان. فيه ورش عمل وعروض وأفلام من القاهرة والإسكندرية وفرنسا!! تعالوا من 2.30 ظهرا حتى 6 مساءا. فيه كمان CULTNAT اللى بيعرضوا فيلم على 9 شاشات عن كل عصور مصر :)
The Festival is open to public starting 2:30 pm!! Be there :)
النهاردة اليوم الثانى من المهرجان. الفترة الصباحية مخصصة للزيارات المدرسية من 9 - 2 ظهرا. ونستقبل الجمهور من جميع الفئات العمرية من 3 عصرا - 8 مساءا. هيكون فيه عروض، ورش عمل وأفلام علمية وثقافية. كمان فيه الساعة 8 مساءا حلقة نقاشية عن التواصل العلمى والمشاركة العامة من الساعة 6 - 8. مستنينكوا :)

Scientists are not geeks, wearing glasses, white coats and are in the laboratory all day. You will experience this throughout the Festival.
Join the Science & Discovery Festival and help changing stereotypes about Scientists :)
You don't have to be studying science or working in the field to come to the festival. It's a wonderful opportunity to explore science in an entertaining way.
Everyone, from all age groups, all academic backgrounds, all professional backgrounds is more than welcome to join the Festival!
