1. Accept (أك-سبت) - يقبل
- I accept your offer.
Except (إك-سبت) - باستثناء
- Everyone came except him.

2. Addition (أدي-شن) - إضافة
- This is an addition to the book.
Edition (إدي-شن) - طبعة
- The new edition is better.

3. Be (بي) - يكون
- I want to be happy.
Bee (بي) - نحلة
- The bee is flying.

4. Die (داي) - يموت
- Many flowers die in winter.
Dye (داي) - يصبغ
- She will dye her hair.

5. Flour (فلاور) - دقيق
- We need flour to bake bread.
Flower (فلاور) - زهرة
- The flower smells nice.

6. Knight (نايت) - فارس
- The knight rode his horse.
Night (نايت) - ليل
- We stayed up all night.

7. Know (نو) - يعرف
- I know the answer.
No (نو) - لا
- No, I don’t want that.

8. Mail (ميل) - بريد
- I check my mail every day.
Male. (ميل) - ذكر
- The male bird sang loudly.

9. Pair (بير) - زوج
- I have a pair of shoes.
Pear (بير) - كمثرى
- I ate a juicy pear.

10. Peace (بيس) - سلام
- We want peace in the world.
Piece (بيس) - قطعة
- Can I have a piece of cake?
