Gastric Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (GPOEM)
A 16-year-old young lady with persistent vomiting and significant weight
loss diagnosed as gastroparesis by gastric scintigraphy.

Biliary stricture management
Four years old baby complaining from recurrent obstructive jaundice according to his age CBD is dilated with multiple level of stricture (distal CBD and two right and left hepatic ducts), two 7 Fr plastics stents were inserted with good biliary drainage
Malignant biliary strictures are most common cause (80%) of biliary strictures
Primary sclerosing cholangitis may be Intra and Extra hepatic (87%) or only Intra haptic (11%) and very rare extra hepatic (2%)

A case of 27 years old lady chronic pancreatitis with multiple pancreatic duct stones diagnosed by EUS
ERCP: selective cannulation cholangiogram revealed CBD dilatation, sphincretomy done and 10 Fr stent in CBD and 7 Fr stent in PD

تم بحمد الله إجراء تدخلات متقدمة عن طريق المنظار بوحدة مناظير الجهاز الهضمي مستشفى قصر العيني جامعة القاهرة
الحالة الاولى لمريضة تعاني من شلل بحركة المعدة (Gastroparesis) و تم علاجها بتقنية GPOEM.
الحالة الثاتية حالة انقباض في عضلة اسفل المريء (Achalasia) و تم علاجها بواسطة تقنية POEM.
طاقم العمل أ.د. هانى شهاب والفريق الطبي بالوحدة.
