At Belvedere School, we reinforce reading and word recognition every day through our “Password of the Day.” As children arrive, they read a simple word before entering class building confidence and making reading a natural, enjoyable part of their daily routine.
We were invited through direct communication with STEM teacher Noha Abdel Gawad, an alumna of the STEM Diploma, where each participating teacher was asked to present one project.
Program of the day:
- The event began with an opening speech by the Head of the STEM Diploma, followed by presentations from representatives of the participating schools by miss Noha.
- Ms. Amina (ICT Teacher) attended for technologybintegration, Miss Margret school principal and miss pasant
- The showcase was organized in a station-based format, where different schools presented projects across various age groups. Our station received significant engagement, with doctors, educators, and visitors showing great interest in our work and interacting with our students.
- We presented the SniffBot project, developed collaboratively by Year 5 and Year 7 students. The project delivers a meaningful message of hope by raising awareness about the importance of early cancer detection, emphasizing that early detection can save lives.
