In our Speaking classes this term, in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9, we have been discussing topics to raise our students’ self-awareness, and the topic that took the highlight of the term was “My Identity - Who I am.” This topic was a great opportunity for the students to dig deep within themselves and discover who they really are.

We ended the term with the “Identity Collage Presentations - What Makes Me Me”, where each student creatively crafted an A3 Collage that expresses his/her identity. It was truly a joy and pride hearing each and every student as he/she shared about his/her identity. Each collage was creatively done in its own unique way; every presentation was heartfelt as it carried a piece of the student’s character and heart in it, and we could sense how each student felt proud as he/she stood and shared in front of his/her classmates.

We wish all our students would embrace who they really are and continue their journey of discovering themselves.
