Congratulatory Message

The Warrap Students’ Union in Egypt warmly congratulates the Gogrial Students’ Association and the Gogrial Football Team for their remarkable victory over Twic Mayardit Football Team in the recent tournament hosted by the Ngok Lual Yak Students. We equally commend the organizers for hosting a peaceful, friendly, and well-coordinated sporting event.

This championship victory stands as a testament to the unity, talent, and spirit of cooperation that continue to thrive among our Warrap communities. As a Union, we remain committed to supporting more constructive engagements and activities that strengthen our shared identity and friendship.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Twic Mayardit Football Team for their impressive performance and for reaching the final. You made the entire Warrap community in Egypt proud. Indeed, the final was a celebration of Warrap’s unity and excellence.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF OUR TOWERING STATEMENT, HON. BONA MALUAL MADUT

The leadership of the Warrap State Students’ Union in Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes, on behalf of all Warrap students in the Arab Republic of Egypt, expresses its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the people of Warrap State and South Sudan at large on the passing of our towering statesman and remarkable elder, Hon. Bona Malual Madut.

His wisdom, patriotism, and unwavering dedication to the nation will be remembered as a guiding light for generations to come.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing.

We regret to inform you that the inauguration ceremony of the Warrap Students’ Union in Egyptian Universities and Higher Institutes, Egypt which was originally scheduled for 6th November, has been postponed to 13th November due to circumstances beyond our control.

The adjustment has been made in respect of our mothers’ function, the Akoc Thon Women's Association fundraising concert, which coincides with the previously set date.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Press Statement

The delegation of the Warrap Students’ Union in Egypt, led by the Secretary General, Mr. Mark Luach Mayen Koor, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Nyalang Dhal Dhal, the Chairlady of the South Sudan Women’s Union, at her residence.

The Chairlady warmly received the delegation and extended her appreciation for their visit.

During the meeting, Mr. Mark Luach delivered a congratulatory message on behalf of the Union’s Chairman, Mr. Nyon Kuech Chol, and the entire Warrap student body in Egypt. The Union’s leadership conveyed its best wishes to Hon. Nyalang as she takes on her new responsibilities.

In her remarks, Hon. Nyalang expressed gratitude to the Union for the recognition and pledged to work closely with the student leadership in promoting education, empowering women, and advancing the role of women in nation-building.

The Warrap Students’ Union in Egypt reaffirms its commitment to fostering strong partnerships with national institutions and leaders working towards the development of South Sudan.
