When your system is under too much stress for a long period of time, you can not perform optimally, can not change, can not grow, can not move freely, and can not recover.
Some things we do in our weekly classes (and online classes)
• Prioritising yourself
• Spending more time in flexion (most of us are living in a hyper-extended, anxiety inducing state)
• Encouraging alternating reciprocal movement (losing the ability to alternate results in a tired body / system)
• Hip shifting (your nervous system loves this, it also eases SI joint, knee, and back pain)
• Rotation (without rotation, you simple can’t move well)
• Breathing into restricted parts of your ribs
• Learning to empty your lungs with a full exhale (best full body mobility drill IMHO)
This is leaves you feeling, “decompressed” rather than fatigued.
Call it a yoga class, call it a mobility class, call it movement, call it recovery, it doesn’t matter.
The body can heal when you prioritize unwinding your system, and giving it what it’s asking for.
Whether you’re an elite athlete, or new to movement, or if you’re a new mom, you need to prioritize spending more time in a parasympathetic state.
I can help you.

I made this Ramadan challenge for the busy ones who are looking to add nourishing movement to their lives, without having it consume or overwhelm your life.
Move, get strong, breathe, flow, and rest. This one month challenge is my most popular online program to help you feel your best inside-out during the month of Ramadan.
You’ll wake up your muscles, your core, your joints, your energy, and feel rejuvenated, without burning yourself out.
This program consists of 3 workout videos per week. All videos are pre-recorded, so you can practice at your own schedule. Many tools are integrated to give your mind and body the best of many worlds:
⚡️Vinyasa yoga - to find a meditative state of flow.
⚡️Barre with guest teacher - to strengthen your core and end ranges.
⚡️Mobility - to increase your flexibility and strengthen your joints.
⚡️Strength - to build muscle and bone density.
⚡️Restorative yoga and yoga nidra with guest teacher - to relax and unwind.
⚡️Plus, you get access to 4 more bonus classes, for a total of 16 classes.
Once you join, you’ll have full access to this program until May 15th, giving you two full months to complete the program, or to repeat it twice for maximum benefits at no additional cost.
⚡️For more details, comment below or dm me your email.

Grateful to add Myokinematic Restoration, from to my education ♥️
I started my journey with postural restoration when I learned some of the techniques in ’s Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist Course 18 months ago, which back then I thought would be the most advanced course I’ll take.
The techniques have been so useful for myself, for mothers I worked with, for my male clients, for my athletes. But then I started working with more complex cases that I couldn’t wrap my head around, and my passion for postural restoration started to grow more and more, and I realised I needed to learn more.
So here we are! This was by far the most advanced course I’ve taken and I’ve had to go through several lectures multiple times, to absorb the concepts.
Although this is advanced anatomy, this is not an anatomy course and it is not a “posture” course - maybe it’s a nervous system course? Maybe it’s now your brain and how you feel and see the world around you impact you?
How you move will ALWAYS determine how you feel, and I hope I can guide you to moving and feeling your best. Moving is breathing, moving is walking, and if you get those wrong, then somewhere down the line, things will start to go wrong.
I still have so many questions and I look forward to continuing my education through more Postural Restoration Programs and maybe even going to Nebraska for some mentorship 🌎
Thank you to the Postural Restoration Institute and to Ron Hruska for sharing your knowledge.

10 days in - It's a good time to check in with yourself. What's working and what's not?
The social obligations + pressure to fit so much within an 8 hour window is real. It can be a lot on you. With 20 days to go, why not notice the effect of some of these habits, and consciously make better choices for you?
Your body responds much better to fasting, when it’s feeling calm and safe ❣️

Although fasting is a challenge for your brain, it’s also very healing for your body, because it shifts your body away from the stress response, aka fight or flight mode.
This stress response is what shuts down all of your organs; many of us are constantly living in a heightened stress response. This stress response is the biggest reason for illness, and impairs your reproductive system, digestive system, immunity and so much more.
These 7 daily habits are so important to make the most of your fasting, or support your nervous system to reap similar benefits if you’re not fasting.

I invite you to explore these 5 practices as you prepare and go into this upcoming month 🌙
1. You don't have to push yourself when you're tired. Your body is working hard day and night for you - and you cannot overload an exhausted body asking for rest, and expect a positive outcome.
2. You don't have to go to every social gathering you're invited to. Learning to say no and prioritizing your current needs is important for your body and your soul. Being constantly overstimulated can put you in a state of fight or flight.
3. You don't have to diet or lose weight. Crash diets do more harm than good, especially if you're already spending 16 hours in a fasted state. In the evening, focus on nourishing your body with nutritious meals, so you can have energy the next day.
4. You don't have to chase a high from caffeine, sugar or high intensity training. Unpopular opinion - if you're a sympathetic driven person, then you're likely attracted towards everything that keeps up the "high", but have you considered if these things are currently serving you or keeping you on the wheel?
5. You don't have to keep going until your to-do-list ends. Because guess what, it probably doesn't. So if you tend to feel overwhelmed, maybe this is a good time to take a step back and experience not always wanting more.
What might you add to the list?

As women, our bodies crave to feel supported, grounded and calm, but often we're no where near that.
We put on so many hats: the daughter, the mother, the wife, the boss, the friend, the leader, and more.
So because we feel we’re always needed, we get stuck in this state of alertness and adrenaline.
You might be surprised to hear a health professional say this, but stress is good. There is such a thing as healthy tension, which helps you grow. Think of all the things you've achieved, which wouldn't have been possible had you not been under a bit of stress.
But you don't want to be there, in this state of stress, all the time. That's how burnout and fatigue happens. You also don't want to be in the "rest and digest" state for a very long time either, otherwise you'd get bored, and unmotivated.
Today we talked about how to regulate your internal state in the workplace at ’s International Women's Day, along with a practical session to give these superwomen a chance to take care of themselves.
Sometimes I get so stuck in my bubble that I forget how much I love to share my learnings with new faces. I am so glad this was of value.
Thank you so much for having me.

Constantly torn between never wanting to leave your side and “doing something useful” with my life.
I share here mostly about my work. I love my work to bits, I love all my clients. I love seeing movement change their lives. I love witnessing people feel sensations in their body for the first time in a long time. I feel very blessed to have made so many sacrifices and learned so much to have this career I’m so passionate about, and to have survived 4 tough years of self employment.
But a part of me also knows that time is the only thing that we can’t get back. Sometimes I want to just be with you all day. I want to have no plans, no appointments, no meetings. I want to not have to show up.
You can want two very different things. At the same time.
