Welcome to KOMPASS:
Nursery, Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School - for Children from 1 to 15 Another focus at Kompass is the social learning process.

The motivation for self directed learning is highly present in children. At Kompass we believe that this motivation should be kept alive because future personal success depends on it. Therefore, the active self-learning child is the underlying idea and the goal of our educational concept. We practice a "dialogical pedagogy” which focuses on the importance of the Child's active involvement in his o

There is something special about seeing the school through a child’s eyes, especially when they share it with someone they love.

Mother’s Day at Kompass, our Bring a Parent to School Day, felt just that. Children guiding their parents through their Kompass, sharing their world.

Thank you to all the parents who came and received it with such curiosity and joy.

Wiedersehen nach 17 Jahren
Back after 17 years

We had the joy of welcoming a family whose children were at Kompass many years ago. They returned to Egypt to revisit their old life, and Kompass was a big part of it.

It was special to reconnect after so many years. To remember a time when their children were still so young, and to see who they have become today.

It reminded us that early childhood does not simply pass. It stays with us, shaping how we feel, connect, and remember, often in ways we only understand much later.

Thank you, Elisabeth and Christian, for coming back with your children to visit. Es hat uns von Herzen gefreut.
We hope next time Carlotta can join as well.

Exploring Sound & Light at Kompass

Our school young learners became scientists for a day, as they explored high and low sounds, investigated how light travels through different materials, and discovered how shadows are created.

Through hands-on experiments, they learned the difference between transparent, translucent, and opaque objects while strengthening their observation, language, and early reading skills.

At Kompass, children learn by asking questions, exploring, and discovering the world around them.

Curious about the Kompass approach?
Book a visit and discover how your child can learn through exploration in our trilingual environment.

Verona. What a few days.

Our Kompass boys and girls at the Mediterranean Cup, full energy from the first minute to the last.

The boys took 1st.
The girls 2nd.
And our girls’ goalkeeper was named best goalkeeper.

But honestly, it’s not just that.

It’s the way they played.
The way they stood up for each other.
The energy on and off the pitch.

One of our older students joined as an assistant coach, stepping into the role with care and responsibility. That matters just as much.

A strong team around them.
Parents there in Verona, others cheering from home.
You could feel it everywhere.

This is Kompass.

There is a lot that is not seen.

The early mornings.
The patience.
The holding, again and again.

Today, we are thinking of all those who are there, in their own ways.

Happy Mother's Day.

We wish you special days that feel calm, warm, and real.
Time with your children. With eacother. Conversations that matter. Small moments that stay.

Wherever you are, we hope you feel connected, to your family, to your children, to your loved ones.

Eid Mubarak! Happy Holidays!

Trilingual minds don’t just speak more, they think differently.

Research shows that children who grow up navigating multiple languages develop stronger cognitive flexibility, better problem-solving skills, and a deeper ability to adapt to new situations. They’re constantly switching, interpreting, and making meaning - and that shapes how they see the world.

In our community, language is more than communication. It’s connection, culture, and confidence.

Raising trilingual learners means nurturing curious, open-minded thinkers who are ready to thrive anywhere.

Curious to see this in action? Get in touch or visit us to learn how we nurture confident, globally minded learners.

Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan together.

Our youngest Kompass children explored traditions by making Amar El Din juice in the Role Play Area - cutting, mixing, and observing how the texture slowly changed from jelly to liquid.

In the Art Room, they crafted their own Ramadan lanterns from recycled milk cartons, decorating them with colorful paper and creativity.

Moments of discovery, and hands-on learning woven into the joy of the season... # #

At Kompass, music is a language of the body.

It lives in rhythm, breath, repetition, movement, and relationship.
It strengthens regulation. Listening. Belonging.

We build musical awareness slowly and intentionally.

Before entertainment.
Before applause.
Before performance.

Musicality begins in the body.
In shared silence.
In attentive presence.

To apply:
How do you nurture musical awareness in young children?
What does this look like in your classroom with 3–6 year olds?

Send your answer to [email protected].

Applications are reviewed immediately.

The draw is out.

For the first time, Kompass School boys and girls are heading to an international tournament outside Egypt.

From Cairo to Italy.

Our players will compete at the Mediterranean Cup 2026 U11 alongside teams from across Europe and beyond, and next to CAC and Schutz American School.

This matters.

Not because of trophies.
But because they earned their place.
Because they have been training and playing matches.
Because they stand up for one another.

We are proud of the way they are representing Kompass - on and off the field.

Best Me. For a Better World.
