11th November, 2024, Cairo

The chairman of Tonj Students' Association in Egypt received an honored invitation from our sister association, Twic Mayardit Students' Association, offered by Chairman Albino Mangor, together with his SG, to attend the colorful event.

The ceremony celebrated the graduation of their sons and daughters from various colleges.

In his opening remarks, chairman Sisto Ngong Biar expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the two associations' collaborative efforts, citing them as evidence of our long strong partnership.

He also congratulated the graduates and wished them great success as they begin on their new travels.

Finally, he transmitted a message of goodwill from our association to chairman Albino Mangor, the people of Twic, and Warrap overall.

Once again, we congratulate the graduates of Twic Mayardit in Egypt and wish them success in their future endeavors.

May God keep us all blessed.

Tonj Students' Association in Egypt held its fourth General Assembly meeting on Friday, October 11, 2024.

The meeting was attended by the Tonj Community's interim Chairman as well as some of our elders.

The meeting's findings and how it was resolved will be made public in the formal records that are being prepared for everyone to read.

We request utmost quiet as we prioritize peaceful cooperation among ourselves.

We appreciate and thank everyone who attended. The minutes will soon be available and posted in the official documents.

FROM DUST WE CAME AND FROM DUST, WE SHALL RETURN.

Dear all,

Tonj Students Association in Egypt is very grieved to learn of the sudden death of our former student, Eng. Mou Atak Madut.

Our late brother, Eng. Mou, graduated from Suez University's Faculty of Petroleum in the 2022/23 class.

He was a friend to everyone and a helpful figure in the association, and his contributions benefited everyone who engaged with him.

As one family of Tonj members in Egypt, we are terribly horrified and regret to notify the broader public that we have lost an iconic person who has left an irreplaceable hole.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the immediate family, friends, and loved ones during this terrible time.

May we draw strength and comfort from the fond memories we shared with our late brother.

His presence will be much missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him. Our thoughts are with everyone who knows Eng. Mou Atak Madut.

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.
