Corner coaching is one of the most important factors that separates victory from defeat A fighter inside the cage is under intense physical and mental pressure and cannot always recognize every opportunity or every mistake At the same time the coach has the advantage of seeing the entire fight from the outside and providing the right instructions at the right moment
The right advice at the right time can completely change the outcome of a fight It can prevent a costly mistake create an opening for a finish or help the fighter stay composed under pressure Corner coaching is not just about motivation It is about reading the fight making quick decisions and helping the fighter execute the game plan
A fighter competes with skill determination and heart while the coach fights with experience knowledge and strategy When both work together as one the chances of success become much greater
Champions are not made by strength alone They are made by discipline preparation intelligent coaching and the ability to make the right decision at the right moment

Proud is an understatement.

A huge thank you to all of my fighters for their outstanding performance today at the One SFC Mixed Martial Arts Championship.

What you showed inside the cage was more than skill. It was discipline, courage, commitment, and the result of countless hours of hard work. Every challenge you faced today is another step toward becoming the athletes you're meant to be.

I truly see a bright future in every one of you. This is only the beginning, and I have no doubt that even greater achievements are ahead. We'll keep learning, keep improving, and keep chasing excellence together.

I'm proud to be your coach. The future belongs to those who never stop working.

A comeback is never just about returning to training. It is a true test of what remains after time away.

After taking a break to focus on his final high school exams, Hatem Sherif is back in the gym.

The results were clear.

His speed is still there.
His power is still there.
However, there is a noticeable drop in his work capacity, which is completely expected after a period away from training.

Now the countdown begins.

We will rebuild his conditioning, restore his endurance, and prepare him step by step to become the best version of himself.

Our next target is the Nightmare Championship on July 31.

The journey starts again with one of the most talented fighters on our team.

People see the fight on competition day.

But every fighter knows the first opponent was the scale.
Cutting weight is far more than losing kilograms. It is a battle against yourself.
A battle that demands more discipline than strength more patience than talent, and complete control over every detail of your nutrition hydration recovery and mindset.
The hardest moments are not always inside the cage. They happen when you choose sacrifice today so you can perform at your best tomorrow.
A true fighter defeats himself before he defeats anyone else.
He masters his desires, controls his impulses, and makes his body obey his mind instead of the other way around.
When a fighter learns to make his weight work for him instead of against him, he has already won the first and most difficult fight.
Because if you cannot control yourself, you cannot expect to control the fight.
The scale does not only measure your weight.
It measures your discipline, your character, and your will.

Benefits of This Training

This drill is not designed to build strength alone. Its primary purpose is to improve technical efficiency under resistance, allowing the athlete to maintain proper mechanics even under fatigue.
1. Shoulder Elevation & Chin Protection
In a technically correct straight punch, whether it's a Jab or a Cross, the punching-side shoulder should naturally rise to protect the chin from counterattacks. The downward pull of the resistance band forces the athlete to activate the deltoids and upper trapezius more aggressively to keep the arm at shoulder level. This reinforces the habit of keeping the shoulder elevated and the chin protected throughout the punch.
2. Preventing Hand Drop During the Punch
One of the most common technical mistakes, especially under fatigue, is allowing the hand to drop before or during the punch, exposing the face and telegraphing the attack. The resistance band acts as a corrective tool, teaching the neuromuscular system to maintain a straight punching path at eye level while resisting any downward movement.
3. Improving Shoulder Endurance
Maintaining a fully extended arm against constant downward resistance places the shoulder muscles under continuous tension. This develops muscular endurance, enabling fighters to keep their guard high throughout multiple rounds without their hands dropping due to fatigue.
4. Enhancing Scapular Stability & Force Transfer
The downward resistance requires continuous scapular stabilization throughout the movement. A stable scapula allows force to transfer efficiently from the lower body and trunk to the fist while minimizing energy loss and reducing unwanted shoulder movement at full extension.
This training develops more than strength. It builds technical precision, reinforces proper punching mechanics, and teaches athletes to maintain an effective fighting posture even under fatigue and resistance.

The shoulder isn't just part of the punch...
it's part of the defense.
One of the most overlooked details in the Uppercut is lifting the shoulder while keeping the chin tucked down.
Anatomically raising the shoulder places the shoulder muscles in a stronger position to support and transfer force efficiently through the punch
This creates a more stable kinetic chain allowing more power to be delivered without sacrificing control.
Technically the raised shoulder acts as a natural shield for the jaw while the tucked chin reduces the target area and helps protect against counter punches.
A powerful Uppercut isn't created by the arm alone
It's the result of correct body mechanics proper shoulder positioning, and disciplined defensive habits.
Power without protection is a risk. Technique that combines both is what wins consistently.

This exercise is based on single-leg stability with an additional balance challenge created by standing on an unstable surface while holding a weight plate in front of the body.
Its purpose is to develop dynamic stability and improve the athlete’s ability to control the center of mass during movement, which is a critical skill in combat sports, especially during kicking, movement, and changes of direction.
The exercise forces the muscles of the hip, ankle, and foot to work harder to maintain balance, improving the function of the stabilizing muscles and reducing the risk of injury.
It also develops the core’s ability to resist unwanted rotation and maintain proper body position while producing or absorbing force, which directly enhances the quality of punches and kicks.
In addition, it improves neuromuscular coordination and increases the efficiency of movement control and balance under pressure.
For fighters, this type of training helps maintain stability during striking, improves force transfer from the ground through the body, and reduces balance loss during combat situations.
In this exercise, the quality of control and stability is more important than the amount of weight used because the primary goal is to develop neuromuscular stability and movement control rather than maximal strength.

This drill develops striking power in a way that’s very different from traditional training
Using resistance bands from both sides creates increasing tension as you throw the uppercut, which means peak force is produced at the end of the punch where it matters most
It also forces you to control the movement not only during the punch but during the return, improving retraction speed and helping you maintain your guard without opening up
The constant lateral tension activates the entire body, especially the shoulders and core, to stabilize the movement and maintain balance under load
It also strengthens anti-rotation, allowing you to transfer force efficiently from the ground through the body to the hand without losing control
In the end, you’re not just building punching power, you’re developing control, stability, and neuromuscular coordination that directly translates to real fight performance

In training… there’s no such thing as “one program for everyone”
Every athlete is different
Different weaknesses
Different limitations
Different needs
The biggest mistake?
Giving the same workout to everyone and expecting the same results.
An athlete struggling with balance
Is not the same as one lacking reaction speed
Is not the same as one with poor fighting posture
Each one has their own “key to improvement”…
A real coach doesn’t just make athletes train…
A real coach understands what each athlete needs
And builds the training around the problem itself 👊
Smart training isn’t random
Smart training is corrective.

One of the biggest mistakes any fighter makes…
Dropping the hands while punching or kicking
Just one moment with your hands down…
Can cost you a fight-ending shot
That’s why training is not just about striking…
It’s about maintaining your fighting stance while you strike and move
Hands up
Shoulders engaged
Head protected
We use resistance bands to force the body to stay in the correct position
Not by choice… but by necessity
Every resisted punch
Teaches you to bring your hand back
And never leave yourself open
Anyone can attack…
But attacking while staying protected… that’s a real fighter
