Students expressed the beauty of biology through art from cells and DNA to the wonders of life turning scientific concepts into creative masterpieces! 💚

🌟 Biology Night Session 🧬🌙
Last night, STEM Asyut biology club (SABC) hosted a Night Session for first‑year students:
“Introduction to Biology and How to Study It”

📚 We dove into:
How to start studying biology from scratch

Essential textbooks and curriculum sources

Techniques to simplify memorization & understanding

How to manage time between theory, concepts & application

💡 Our aim was to guide students through a clear roadmap so they don’t feel lost in their studies.
The session sparked many questions, and the team’s answers clarified key points.

التعليم هو مفتاح لمستقبل مشرق.
ولكن مصر بتواجه أزمة حقيقية في التعليم العام. الحق في التعليم الجيد مبقاش أساسي لكل المصريين. دلوقتي كل ما بقا معاك فلوس أكتر، كل ما ضمنت مستوى تعليم أفضل. الأزمة دي كانت إنذار لينا علشان نوفر لأطفالكم الحق دا.أطفالكم يستحقوا مستوى تعليم أحسن أيا كان مستواكم الإقتصادي. علشان كدا بدأنا مبادرة عقول مصر العلمية.

احنا مين:
لما اتأسست في 2024، كانت المبادرة معمولة علشان تعلم الطلبة في المرحلة الإعدادية أساسيات الأحياء، الكيمياء، الرياضيات، والفيزياء، وطبعا كل دا بشكل مجاني تماما. طريقة التعلم عندنا في المبادرة بعتمد أكتر على تفاعل الطلبة وأنشطة طول وقت المحاضرات، وكما المنهج بيكون متقدم شوية عن المناهج في المدارس، طبعا احنا بنراعي حاجة زي دي وبنشرح بكل سهولة.

ايه أهدافنا:
1.نقوي المستوى الأكاديمي الخاص بالطلبة مقارنة بنظرائهم.
2. نعزز قدرة الطلبه على التفكير النقدي.
3. نقوي ثقة الطلبة بنفسهم.
4. نمكن الطلبة من تطبيق الي بيدرسوه في حياتهم اليومية
5. نخلي الطلبة قادرة انها تشارك أرائها وأفكارها وتقدر أنها تقدمها بشكل منظم.

أثرنا:
1. في الكورس الأوفلاين في البداية شرحنا لحوالي 30 طالب وطالبة.
2. في الموسم الأول من الكورس الأونلاين شرحنا لحوالي 80 طالب وطالبة.

The ESMI initiative focuses on supporting preparatory (middle school) students by providing high-quality educational content in four core subjects:

⚗️ Chemistry
📐 Physics
🧮 Math
Helping young learners not only to understand basics but also discover the beauty of science in early stage.
🎯 As part of this collaboration, our team's role will be to contribute to the development and explanation of scientific content, especially in the subject of Biology🧬. We aim to simplify complex concepts and deliver valuable,age-appropriate material for the target audience.

STEM Asyut Biology Club announces the conclusion of the Assiut Biology Olympiad (ABO), which was held last week in collaboration between the STEM Asyut Biology Club and the Federal Scientific Committee at STEM Asyut. The competition provided an excellent space for scientific competition and for applying research, presentation, and critical thinking skills✨.

The competition was divided into three phases, with each stage designed to assess a different aspect of the students’ abilities:

🎗️ Phase 1 : Case Study Presentation
Each team (ranging from 1 to 4 members) delivered a presentation on a selected case study.
The judging panel included:

▫️Ms. Samia Michel and Mr. Ahmed Osama: evaluating scientific content
▫️Dr. Elham Mahmoud: evaluating design and presentation
▫️Ms. Noha Mohamed: evaluating presentation skills

In addition, the audience participated in voting for the best presentation, and the winning team received extra points in the final judgment.

🎗️ Phase 2 : Bio League
This phase included three rounds: the Open Exam, Semi-Final, and Final.

🎗️ Phase 3 : Magazine
The qualified teams submitted scientific articles across various fields. Judging focused on:
-Scientific content
-Academic writing
-Research question and validity
-Citations and sources

Finally, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all participants and organizers of the competition:
