General Conditions
The volume of work does not exceed 2 cubic meters.
The artist should be available throughout the whole duration of the Symposium.
The artist should bring his own tools that the work may need.
All works executed at the Symposium are considered a property of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ministry of Culture, Cultural Development Fund.
The Cultural Development Fund provides the transportation and the accommodations.
Cultural visits during the period of the symposium are included.
The results of the selections will be announced on October 20, 2025.

اشتراطات عامة
حجم العمل لا يزيد عن ٢ متر مكعب.
تقام ورشة الشباب والورشة المستقلة على مدى الأسابيع الثلاثة الأخيرة من السيمبوزيوم.
حجم العمل لفنان الورشة لا يزيد عن ١ متر مكعب.
يجب أن يكون الفنان متواجد بالسيمبوزيوم طوال فترة الدورة.
على الفنانين المشاركين إحضار كل ما يتطلبه عملهم من أدوات.
تعود ملكية نتاج الدورة لوزارة الثقافة متمثلة في صندوق التنمية الثقافية.
يتحمل الصندوق انتقالات الفنانين من القاهرة إلى أسوان والعكس، والإقامة الفندقية الكاملة.
يشمل البرنامج رحلة ثقافية لبعض المعالم السياحية.

سيمبوزيوم أسوان الدولي للنحت - الدورة التاسعة والعشرون
على مدى تسع وعشرين دورة، لم يكن سيمبوزيوم أسوان الدولي للنحت مجرد تجمع فني، بل تجربة متجددة تعيد تعريف فن النحت على الجرانيت، حيث يلتقي الفنانون من أنحاء العالم، فتتلاقى التجارب وتتبلور رؤى إبداعية جديدة، مما يرسخ مكانته كأحد أهم المنصات الدولية في هذا المجال.
وهكذا، يظل السيمبوزيوم منصة متجددة للحوار الفني والتبادل الثقافي، وترسيخًا لمكانة مصر كمركز عالمي لفن النحت.
نعبر عن تقديرنا لكل من أسهم في نجاح هذا الحدث الفني الهام، ونحن دائما على العهد بأن نبذل كل ما في وسعنا لدعم السيمبوزيوم والمتحف المفتوح، وبناء جسور التفاهم والتواصل من خلال الفن.

For twenty-nine editions, the Aswan International Sculpture Symposium has not merely been an artistic gathering but a continually evolving experience that redefines the art of granite sculpture. Artists from around the world come together, exchanging ideas and shaping new creative visions, solidifying the symposium’s status as one of the most significant international platforms in this field.
Thus, the symposium remains a dynamic platform for artistic dialogue and cultural exchange, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a global center for sculpture.
We extend our deepest appreciation to all who have contributed to the success of this significant artistic event. We remain committed to supporting the symposium and the open-air museum, fostering cultural dialogue, and building bridges of understanding through art.

The Egyptian Ministry of Culture, through the Cultural Development Fund headed by Arch. Hamdy El-Sotouhy, announced the names of the artists participating in the 29th edition of the Aswan International Sculpture Symposium, scheduled to take place from January 14 to February 22, 2025.
Participating artists include: Ahmed Askalani, Baher Abou Bakr, Ola Moussa, and Menna Ahmed (from Egypt), along with Martin Mathias (Germany), Ferhat Ozgur (Turkey), Alexander Phophkhadze (Georgia), and Adrian Antonio (Mexico). General commissioner is Arch. Akram El-Magdoub.

وزيرة الثقافة تتفقد أعمال الدورة ٢٨ لسمبوزيوم أسوان الدولي لفن النحت، والذي انطلقت فعالياته يوم ١٥ يناير الجاري ويستمر حتى 5 مارس القادم، بمشاركة ١١ نحاتًا من مصر وإسبانيا وروسيا والصين وبولندا ويُنظمه قطاع صندوق التنمية الثقافية، برئاسة الدكتور وليد قانوش، وذلك بحضور الفنان أكرم المجدوب، قوميسيير عام السمبوزيوم.
حيث حرصت وزيرة الثقافة، على لقاء فناني السمبوزيوم من المصريين والأجانب، وأكدت حرص الوزارة على توفير الإمكانات اللازمة لنجاح السيمبوزيوم، وأعرب الفنانون عن سعادتهم بالمشاركة في هذا الحدث الدولي، على أرض محافظة أسوان، حيث الحضارة والفنون.
كما ثمنت وزيرة الثقافة، الجهود المبذولة لتنظيم هذا الحدث الفني المتميز، مُعربة عن تطلعاتها بأن تخرج هذه الدورة بالشكل اللائق بقيمة مصر وريادتها الحضارية، مؤكدة دور الفنون الجادة في إحداث التواصل البناء بين شعوب العالم.
