In the Taking Action phase, PYP 3 learners delved into the concept that "the world is composed of matter which can go through various changes." Through hands-on stations, students conducted experiments that showcased the different transformations of matter—like the irreversible changes that occur when ingredients are mixed and baked, or the process of chocolate turning from liquid to solid. As they observed these changes, learners reflected on their experiences, demonstrating the IB Learner Profile attributes of being risk-taker, reflective and thinkers. By analyzing real-life examples, they made connections to how they can apply their understanding of matter's transformations in everyday life.

PYP7 trip to Lane 9 was a joyful and meaningful experience for our students! 🎳✨ The day was designed to support their social and emotional development through teamwork, communication, and positive interaction in a fun, relaxed environment. Students practiced collaboration, encouraged one another, and celebrated both effort and success, building confidence and a strong sense of community. It was wonderful to see their smiles, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the day—truly a memorable experience for everyone involved! 💛

PYP 6 has officially kicked off their Unit of Inquiry under How the World Works! Students are diving into how energy affects life through hands-on exploration at “Frenzy Station” — our very own mini amusement park 🎢
Being inquirers and risk-takers, they explored rides demonstrating potential and kinetic energy, discovering how energy transforms from one form to another through play, experimentation, and curiosity.
Safe to say… energy has never been this fun

As part of our Unit of Inquiry “How We Organize Ourselves,” PYP7 learners explored the central idea “Government systems can promote or deny human rights.” The Class Leader Elections served as the action of this unit, providing students with an authentic opportunity to experience how governance systems function and how they can support fairness, voice, and participation within a community. Learners developed and presented their campaign ideas, then engaged in a structured and respectful voting process, applying their understanding in a meaningful context. Throughout this learning journey, students specifically developed communication skills by clearly expressing their ideas and actively listening to others, and thinking skills by analyzing candidates’ proposals, reflecting on fairness and rights, and making informed decisions. This experience encouraged learners to recognize how systems influence inclusion, equity, and participation, and we are proud of the confidence, critical thinking, and sense of responsibility they demonstrated ✨

Celebrating with pride the MYP Personal Project Exhibition and our DP1 TOK Exhibition—a true reflection of commitment, perseverance, and growth.

Our MYP 5 learners showcased a wide range of unique and meaningful projects, demonstrating strong critical thinking, creativity, and a clear sense of purpose. Their work highlighted not only their research and communication skills, but also their independence, reflection, and ownership of their learning journey.

At the same time, our DP1 students impressed us with their TOK Exhibitions—an outstanding display of curiosity, deep thinking, and the ability to connect knowledge to real-world contexts in meaningful ways.

Rotary_Club_of_Alexandria_Cosmopolitan

Our DP1 learners participated in the Walk-a-thon organized by the Rotary Club of Alexandria Cosmopolitan as part of their CAS activities. The theme was "Walk, Run, Cycle for a Cause: To support Limb Loss victims ." Our learners took action and contributed to the Limb Loss victims project through their donations. Congratulations to Salma Meshaly for winning second place and Sophia Gomaa for securing third place! We thank our learners for demonstrating social responsibility and for their commitment to serving the community.
