Join us and share your thoughts on initiatives which aim to bridge the gap between academia and the public, and bring locals closer to their maritime cultural heritage.

We are also honoured to have Vera Noon (University of Edinburgh / ArchiMare Consulting) as a specialist on the subject to lead the discussion.

🐳 ICUA Zadar is organizing an ADVANCED UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGY COURSE funded by the Ministarstvo kulture i medija Republike Hrvatske.

📍 Where & When?
Zadar region and Srednja Sestrica Islet, Croatia
4–15 May 2026

👤 Who can apply?
• Max. 4 archaeologists (or graduate students) with diving and basic field archaeology experience

✅ Requirements
• BA in archaeology (or related field)
• AOWD/CMAS** (30+ logged dives)
• Proven practical experience in underwater archaeology
• Medical certificate confirming fitness to dive
• 18+ years old
