ملاحظات هامة على استخدام الصفات
اولا الصفات التي لا يمكن استخدامها قبل الاسم
🔴هناك صفات لايمكن استخدامها قبل الاسم ولكن يمكن استخدامها بعد الاسم predicative only وخاصة بعض الصفات المنتهية ب ed- form او بعض الصفات التي تأتي على شكل past participle form

Ex. Most of the mentioned issues in the documentary are not very important. ❌

🔴ثانيا لايمكن للصفات التي تبدأ ب (Prefix a) ان تاتي قبل الاسم اطلاقا ومن هذا الصفات awake, alive, asleep, aboard (on a plane, boat, bus or train), afloat, ablaze (on fire)
We use them after linking verbs such as be, seem, become, feel, smell, taste

Ex. Nader was awake student during the class.❌

Nader was awake during the class. ✅

There were some asleep students during the class. ❌

Some student were asleep during the class.✅

🔴ثالثا الصفات absolute, complete, perfect وهي صفات تعبر عن عن درجة حدوث الفعل adjectives) (of degree تأتي قبل الاسم وليس بعده attributive, not predicative

Ex. That lie is absolute.
❌
That is an absolute lie. ✅
وينطبق هذا أيضا على الصفات الآتية
pure, true , sheer, utter, proper,
Ex. My friend, Omar is true.❌
Omar is my true friend. ✅

🔴كما أن هناك صفات لابد أن تأتي قبل الاسم أيضا وليس بعده مثل الصفات التي تعبر عن الزمن او الأسبقية ومن أمثال هذه الصفات
former, present, future, latter
Her husband was former.❌
That was her former (ex) husband.✅

🔴لاحظ عند استخدام كلمة late كصفة بمعنى المرحوم فلابد ان تاتي قبل الاسم وليس بعده.
Mr. Salem, the late.❌
The late, Mr. Salem✅

🔴لاحظ عند استخدام الصفة early بمعنى الفترة الأولى أو البداية ل
فلابد ان تستخدم هنا قبل الاسم وليس بعده
Ex. The Roman period was early. ❌
That was in the early Roman period. ✅

🔴وينطبق نفس الكلام علي بعض الصفات الأخرى مثل
major, certain, only, particular, chief

Ex. The daughter is only for them. ❌

She is the only daughter for them. ✅

This rival is chief to the president.❌

This is one of the president's chief rivals.✅

🔴لاحظ adverbs of degree مثل quite - very - extremely تأتي قبل الصفة الا ان enough تكسر القاعدة وتاتي دائما بعد الصفة.
Ex. The question is very easy. ✅

The question is enough easy to answer.❌

The question is easy enough to answer. ✅

🔴لاحظ عند استخدام بعض الصفات مثل first, second, last مع العدد فلابد ان تاتي هذه الصفات قبل العدد وليس بعده.
Ex. Did you see Salah's three last goals? ❌

Did you see Salah's last three goals? ✅

🔴لاحظ ان هناك بعد الصفات لا يجوز ان تستخدم معها adverbs of degree مثل excellent 'perfect, dead, automatic, - female - manual, married
وغيرهم الكثير ويطلق عليها - non- gradable adjectives
Ex. My cat is fairly female. ❌

My cat is female. ✅

He is fairly dead. ❌
He is dead. ✅

🔴لاحظ انه لايمكن استخدام adverbs of degree مثل
utterly - completely - totally مع open - ended adjectives. وبدلا من ذلك يمكن استخدام very /so

Ex. My day is completely long. I start work at 8 am. and I don't finish until 8 pm. ❌

My day is so / very long. I start work at 8 am. and I don't finish until 8 pm. ✅
