The Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management Department organized a distinguished scientific and recreational trip, with the participation of its students as well as students from other departments, as part of efforts to enhance practical learning and raise awareness of the labor market.

The trip included a visit to Depot Egypt Logistics Park, one of the leading projects subsidiary of the Kadmar Group, which reflects a strong commitment to developing logistics infrastructure in Egypt and supporting regional trade growth. Located in a strategic area in Ain Sokhna, the project provides integrated services in container handling and logistics solutions with high efficiency and reliability, meeting the evolving demands of global supply chains.

Under the leadership of Rear Admiral Hatem El Kady, the project continues to achieve outstanding operational performance by combining innovation, expertise, and strategic vision, contributing to strengthening Egypt’s position as a competitive logistics hub in the region.

This visit helped students gain practical insight into the labor market and its requirements. The visit was not limited to the educational aspect; it also provided a great opportunity for students to enjoy their time together. The students then headed to the Religious Complex, where they had a light tour, took some memorable photos, and spent a simple yet enjoyable time in a lively and friendly atmosphere.

تضمنت الرحلة زيارة Depot Egypt Logistics Park، أحد المشروعات الرائدة التابعة لمجموعة Kadmar، والذي يعكس التزامًا قويًا بتطوير البنية التحتية اللوجستية في مصر ودعم نمو التجارة الإقليمية.

يقع المشروع في موقع استراتيجي بالعين السخنة، ويقدم خدمات متكاملة في تداول الحاويات والحلول اللوجستية بكفاءة وموثوقية، بما يلبي متطلبات سلاسل الإمداد العالمية المتطورة.

وتحت قيادة اللواء بحري حاتم القاضي، يواصل المشروع تحقيق معايير متميزة في الأداء التشغيلي، من خلال الدمج بين الابتكار والخبرة والرؤية الاستراتيجية، بما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة مصر كمركز لوجستي تنافسي في المنطقة. وقد ساهمت هذه الزيارة في تعريف الطلاب بشكل عملي بسوق العمل ومتطلباته.

لم تقتصر الزيارة على الجانب التعليمي فقط، بل كانت أيضًا فرصة لقضاء وقت ممتع بين الطلاب. حيث توجه الطلاب إلى مجمع الأديان، واستمتعوا بجولة خفيفة في المكان، والتقطوا بعض الصور التذكارية، وقضوا وقتًا بسيطًا ومميزًا معًا في أجواء مليئة بالمرح.

The Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management Department at the College of International Transport and Logistics – Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport announces the signing of an MOU with Al-Fath for Shipping Agencies, a leading company in integrated shipping and logistics services.
Al-Fath for Shipping Agencies provides comprehensive maritime and logistics solutions, including shipping agency services, cargo handling operations, international and domestic transportation, as well as warehousing and storage, supporting Egypt’s connectivity to global trade.
This collaboration reflects the department’s commitment to bridging academic learning with practical experience. Through this partnership:

* Students will have access to summer training opportunities throughout their academic years.
* Practical, hands-on experience will be provided to enhance real-world industry exposure
* Company experts will participate in evaluating graduation projects
* Seminars and knowledge-sharing sessions will be organized for students
* Potential career opportunities will be available for outstanding students

يُعلن قسم إدارة لوجستيات الطاقة والبترول بكلية النقل الدولي واللوجستيات – الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري عن توقيع MOUمع شركة Al-Fath for Shipping Agencies، إحدى الشركات الرائدة في مجال الشحن والخدمات اللوجستية المتكاملة.

وتُعد شركة الفتح من الشركات المتخصصة في تقديم حلول لوجستية وبحرية متكاملة، حيث تشمل أنشطتها التوكيلات الملاحية، وإدارة عمليات الشحن والتفريغ، والنقل الدولي والداخلي، بالإضافة إلى خدمات التخزين والمستودعات، بما يساهم في دعم حركة التجارة وربط مصر بالأسواق العالمية.

The Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management Department announces a field trip to Kadmar International Logistics Park, as part of its efforts to support academic learning and bridge the gap between academic study and real-world applications in energy and green logistics .

The visit aims to introduce students to the latest operational systems within logistics centers, as well as to explore the concept of Green Logistics. The center represents an advanced model of an environmentally friendly logistics hub that relies on renewable energy and carbon emission reduction. It is also certified with EDGE, making it one of the leading sustainability projects in the region.

Day1: The trip includes a visit to the scientific site followed by transfer to Ain Sokhna for hotel accommodation and other fun activities where students will enjoy an open buffet lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel, check-out, then departure to Porto Sokhna before returning.

The trip is open to all students across different academic departments within the college, providing a wider opportunity for participation and interdisciplinary experience sharing.

يعلن قسم إدارة لوجستيات الطاقة والبترول عن تنظيم رحلة ميدانية إلى مركز Kadmar International Logistics Park، وذلك في إطار دعم التعلم الأكاديمي وربط الدراسة النظرية بالتطبيقات العملية في مجال الطاقة واللوجستيات الخضراء.

وتهدف الزيارة إلى تعريف الطلاب بأحدث الأنظمة التشغيلية داخل المراكز اللوجستية، بالإضافة إلى استكشاف مفهوم اللوجستيات الخضراء (Green Logistics)، حيث يُعد المركز نموذجًا متقدمًا لمركز لوجستي صديق للبيئة يعتمد على الطاقة المتجددة وتقليل الانبعاثات الكربونية، كما أنه حاصل على شهادة EDGE، مما يجعله من أبرز مشروعات الاستدامة في المنطقة.

اليوم الأول: تشمل الرحلة زيارة الموقع العلمي، يليها الانتقال إلى العين السخنة للإقامة الفندقية والأنشطة الترفيهية، حيث يتم تناول وجبة الغداء بالإضافة إلى العشاء والإقامة لليلة واحدة.

اليوم الثاني: تناول الإفطار بالفندق، تسجيل المغادرة، ثم التوجه إلى بورتو السخنة قبل العودة.

الرحلة متاحة لجميع طلاب الكلية من مختلف الأقسام الأكاديمية، بما يتيح فرصة أوسع للمشاركة وتبادل الخبرات بين التخصصات.

شارك قسم إدارة لوجستيات الطاقة والبترول في فعاليات المؤتمر الدولي للنقل البحري واللوجستيات (MARLOG 15)، والذي عُقد تحت عنوان «الممرات اللوجستية الذكية والمرنة: بوابة المستقبل للتجارة الخضراء»، وذلك بمشاركة كلٍ من د. نانسي دراز، رئيس القسم و د. أحمد حسين علي، وكيل الكليه لشؤون الطلاب، ود. مي هارون، و أ. نورهان فراج.

وتناول المؤتمر أحدث التوجهات العالمية في تطوير الممرات اللوجستية المستدامة، وتعزيز التحول الرقمي في منظومات النقل البحري، ودعم التجارة الخضراء، إلى جانب مناقشة دور الابتكار والتقنيات الحديثة في رفع كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد والخدمات اللوجستية.

وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار حرص القسم، ممثلاً في قياداته الأكاديمية، على مواكبة التطورات الدولية في مجالات اللوجستيات والطاقة، وتعزيز الربط بين الجوانب الأكاديمية والتطبيقات العملية، بما يسهم في دعم التنمية المستدامة ورفع كفاءة القطاع.

The Department of Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management participated in the activities of the International Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference (MARLOG 15), held under the theme “Smart and Resilient Logistics Corridors: The Gateway to the Future of Green Trade.” The department was represented by Dr. Nancy Deraz, Head of the Department; Dr. Ahmed Hussein Ali, Vice Dean for Student Affairs; Dr. Mai Haroun; and Ms. Norhan Farag.
The conference addressed the latest global trends in developing sustainable logistics corridors, enhancing digital transformation within maritime transport systems, and supporting green trade initiatives. It also highlighted the role of innovation and advanced technologies in improving the efficiency of supply chains and logistics services.
This participation reflects the department’s commitment, represented by its academic leadership, to keeping pace with international developments in the fields of logistics and energy, strengthening the integration between academic knowledge and practical applications, and contributing to sustainable development while enhancing the efficiency of the sector.

نتقدم بخالص التهاني إلى د. نانسي دراز لتوليها منصب رئيس قسم إدارة لوجستيات الطاقة والبترول، مع أطيب التمنيات لها بدوام التوفيق والتقدم والنجاح.

The FIBAA Gold Accreditation has been renewed for a period of five years, until 2031, for all Colleges of International Transport and Logistics at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport. For the first time, the accreditation also includes the Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management Department.

In addition, the Energy and Petroleum Logistics Management Department has been accredited by the University of Hull, United Kingdom, under the dual-degree program.

تم تجديد إعتماد الفيبا FIBAA الذهبي لمدة خمس سنوات حتى ٢٠٣١ لكل كليات النقل الدولي واللوجستيات بالأكاديمية العربية للعلوم و التكنولوجيا و النقل البحري ولاول مرة لقسم ادارة لوجستيات الطاقة والبترول.

وبالاضافة الي اعتماد قسم ادارة لوجستيات الطاقه والبترول من جامعه هال بالمملكه المتحده ببرنامج الدرجه المزدوجه.
