Tip of the day: Titles are very important in Egyptian culture! Generally professor and bashmohandis are used for any professional person. Doctor is for respect and used for any medical or titled doctor. Hagg and Hagga are used for elderly people as a title recognizing they are at the age of having made the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.
