أنا بصحى بدري كل يوم، وده بقاله سنين، والنهاردة بدل ما أصحى في أمريكا، أصحى في مصر بلدي.
مش قادرة أمضي يوم من غير ما أشارككم إعجابي واحترامي للشعب المصري 💛
العمال اللي بينزلوا من العربيات والأوتوبيسات مبتسمين عشان يروحوا لشغل صعب زي الأبطال، الكبار اللي شغالين بكل قوة، والأطفال اللي بيحملوا حاجات أكبر من وزنهم بكثير…
بجد أنا بحترمهم جدًا، قوتهم وصبرهم مش طبيعيين 💪
الشعب المصري مدرسة في الصبر والتحمل. كل يوم الصبح وأنا بشوف ده بحس بالامتنان الشديد لبلدي، وللناس اللي بتعلمني معنى الاجتهاد والإصرار.

I get up very early every day, as I have for years, , I wake up in my home country, Egypt.
I couldn’t go another day without sharing my awe and respect for the Egyptian people 💛
The workers who get off trucks and buses with a smile to go to difficult jobs like heroes, the older people working tirelessly, and the children carrying more than their weight…
I truly respect them so much 💪
The Egyptian people are a true lesson in patience and endurance. Every morning, seeing this fills me with gratitude for my country and for the people who show me the meaning of hard work and determination.
Thank you, Egypt, for welcoming me home and for the lessons you show me every day 🙏

هذا العام علّمني معنى الفقد الحقيقي.
فقدتُ والديّ، وفقدتُ معهما أشياء كثيرة…
صوت الاطمئنان، الدعاء، الإحساس الدائم بأن هناك من ينتظرني دون شرط.
الحزن كان حاضرًا، وسيظل،
لكنني اخترت ألا أتركه يطغى على كل شيء.
اخترت أن أحتفي بما كان، لا أن أندب ما انتهى.
أحتفي بالضحكات الصادقة،
بالأحاديث التي امتدّت لساعات،
باللحظات البسيطة التي لم نكن نعلم وقتها
أنها ستصبح أثمن ما نملك.
الفقد يغيّرنا، نعم،
لكنه أيضًا يعيد ترتيب قلوبنا،
ويعلّمنا أن الحب لا يُقاس بالوجود،
بل بالأثر الذي يتركه فينا.
اليوم أصل إلى مساحة من السلام،
ليس لأن الألم انتهى،
بل لأن الامتنان أصبح أقوى.

This year taught me the true meaning of loss.
I lost my parents,
and with them, I lost many quiet certainties —
the feeling of being unconditionally held,
the comfort of knowing someone was always there.
Grief became part of the journey,
and it still is.
But I chose not to let it define everything.
I chose to honor what was,
rather than mourn only what ended.
I honor the genuine laughter,
the long conversations,
the simple moments we never knew
