🌿 Whoever missed standing on the Day of ʿArafah should not miss making the most of the Days of Tashreeq through worship, obedience, and drawing closer to Allah — especially 🌙 “Yawm Al-Qarr,” which is the 11th of Dhul-Hijjah and the first day of Tashreeq.

✨ It is called “Yawm Al-Qarr” (the Day of Rest) because the pilgrims settle and remain in Mina after completing Tawaf Al-Ifadah and the sacrifice. It is a greatly honored day in which supplications are hoped to be accepted.

🕋 The Prophet ﷺ said about its virtue:

📖 “The greatest days in the sight of Allah are the Day of Sacrifice, then the Day of Al-Qarr.”
(Reported by Imam Ahmad)

🌸 Among the recommended acts on Yawm Al-Qarr and throughout the Days of Tashreeq are:

1️⃣ Seeking forgiveness and making abundant du‘a 🤲

2️⃣ Reciting Takbeer frequently, both generally and after the obligatory prayers 🕌

✨ Among the well-known forms of Takbeer:

📿 “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil-hamd.”

3️⃣ Frequently reciting the du‘a:

💎 “Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
(Qur’an 2:201)

🌷 The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this supplication often, and it is among the most comprehensive du‘as for the goodness of this life and the next.

4️⃣ Eating, drinking, and remembering Allah 🍽️🤍 — and it is prohibited to fast during these days.

📖 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

🌿 “The days of Mina are days of eating, drinking, and remembrance of Allah.”
(Reported by Muslim)

🤲 O Allah, make us among those who take advantage of blessed times in Your obedience, and do not deprive us of Your vast bounty and generosity.
