Misr University for Science and Technology is a leading independent university in Egypt, it was established by the presidential decree No. 245/1996 in accordance with law No.101/1992 governing private universities in Egypt. MUST enjoys full legal recognition by all educational authorities in Egypt & is authorized to grant B.A, B.S, M.A, M.S & Ph.D. All the programs at MUST have been accredited by

The Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt. The university follows the credit hours system, in general, one credit hour is the equivalent of one lecture hour every week for one semester. Two or more laboratory hours may be counted as one credit hour. The academic year is divided into two semesters of 16 weeks each. The fall semester usually starts in the third week of September, and the spring semester starts in the third week of February. An eight-week summer session is also available after the second semester. Language of Instruction :
English is the language of instruction in all colleges except for the Arabic branches of the colleges of Business, Archaeology and Mass Media. Academic Advising :
It is the university policy that each student is entitled to academic advising. In each specialization, the dean or department head concerned assigns academic advisors to provide students with pertinent information about their major, and to assist in planning their program of study, and in solving their academic problems. يوم تعريفي بالتراث الثقافي المغمور بالمياه 🌊🏛️
في إطار اهتمام جامعة مصر للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بالحفاظ على التراث الثقافي المصري وتعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بقيمته، نظمت الجامعة، ممثلة في قطاع خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة ومركز دعم التراث الثقافي، يومًا تعريفيًا حول التراث الثقافي المغمور بالمياه، بالتعاون مع اللجنة الوطنية المصرية للتربية والعلوم والثقافة ومركز الإسكندرية للآثار البحرية والتراث الثقافي بجامعة الإسكندرية.
وشهدت الفعالية حضور نخبة من قيادات الجامعة والمتخصصين والخبراء والإعلاميين، وتناولت عددًا من المحاور العلمية، من بينها طبيعة التراث الثقافي المغمور بالمياه، واتفاقية اليونسكو لعام 2001، وسبل اكتشافه ودراسته وحمايته وإتاحته للجمهور.
كما هدفت الفعالية إلى تعزيز التعاون بين المتخصصين والإعلاميين، ورفع مستوى الوعي العلمي بهذا المجال، والمساهمة في تقديم معلومات دقيقة ومسؤولة للجمهور، تزامنًا مع الاستعداد للاحتفال بـ اليوم العالمي للتراث الثقافي المغمور بالمياه في 21 أغسطس 2026.
Underwater Cultural Heritage Awareness Day 🌊🏛️
As part of Misr University for Science and Technology’s (MUST) commitment to preserving Egypt’s cultural heritage and raising public awareness of its value, the University, represented by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector and the Cultural Heritage Center, hosted an Underwater Cultural Heritage Awareness Day.
The event was held in collaboration with the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture and the Alexandria Center for Maritime Archaeology and Underwater Cultural Heritage at Alexandria University.
The event brought together university leaders, experts, specialists, and media professionals to explore key topics including the nature of underwater cultural heritage, the 2001 UNESCO Convention, and the scientific approaches to discovering, studying, protecting, and making underwater heritage accessible to the public.
The event also aimed to strengthen collaboration between specialists and media professionals, promote scientific awareness, and support the delivery of accurate and responsible information to the public, ahead of World Underwater Cultural Heritage Day on August 21, 2026.

Highlights from honoring the participating dentists in the MOrth program, hosted by Misr University for Science & Technology (MUST) at the Digital Lab Center in collaboration with the Royal College.

The ceremony featured honoring the trainees and presenting success certificates to the cohorts who passed the MOrth Part A exam, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting its students and encouraging them to continue their professional journey in line with accredited British standards, in the presence of Prof. David Byrne.

Guided by Prof. David Bearn, the event featured clinical skill assessments alongside an insightful session on the critical role of effective communication in advancing patient care and treatment outcomes

We were honored to welcome participants and dentists from various universities across Egypt and the Arab region, reflecting MUST’s ongoing dedication to serving as a regional hub for prestigious international fellowships
