Engineering and Technology for kids Engineering and Technology for kids is a technology program that promotes engineering and technology Each program consists of 8 sessions that are 2 hours each.

Engineering and Technology for kids provides hands-on learning that gives kids a stronger understanding of engineering and its connection with things we all use in our everyday life. It encourages engineering literacy where being an engineer means being a creative problem solver, an innovative thinker and a team player, not a nerd. It inspires children to build on their natural curiosity and lays

the foundation they need to participate in engineering activities later in life. This is achieved by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on projects; bringing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to kids ages 6 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through after-school programs, and camps. It will be delivered in 8 weeks, 1 session per week. Each session will focus on a technology that we use in our daily life. The first part of the session will answer questions about how it works and how engineering relates to it. The second part of the session will be a hands-on project to build a prototype of that technology. The project will be concluded by an artistic touch while decorating the produced prototype. Each kid will be able to build a show case of his/her own hand-made technologies that can be used for decorating his/her room and for playing with friends and relatives at any time, while engaging facts with fun illustrations.
