Zewail City Conference & Exhibition on Biomedical Sciences

The seed from which the biomedical field in Egypt will grow. The root from which all Biomedical majors in Egypt will branch.

Recently, we noticed new rising majors such as Biotechnology, Applied science....etc. Actually, those different names are specialized aspects for a general Major which is the field of biomedical sciences. Currently, Developed countries are investing millions of dollars in this field because its progress showed remarkable financial, health and social benefits. Therefore, it was a must to support th

is nationally rising field for the tremendous contributions to our homeland. In accordance with that, a group of biomedical major students from the University Science and Technology under the supervision of prime professors at Zewail city, took this initiative. They established the first annual meeting point for the biomedical field interested people nationally. This page aims to spread awareness, and scientific culture among junior students in this field. Moreover, it will give them a chance to share and submit novel ideas, and research papers in the Annual National Conference. One of the major goals of this conference is to unite all the biomedical majors around Egypt in order to plan for future work opportunities nationally. Finally, such an initiative act will promote investors and companies to establish more work opportunities in the field of Biomedical Sciences. We are seeking to be the top Biomedical conference in Middle East area.

فى الفترة اللى فاتت سمعنا عن تخصصات جديدة زى التكنولوجيا الطبية, العلوم التطبيقية ....الخ. مسميات كتيرة لتخصص عام واحد و هو علوم الطب الحيوى. الدول المتقدمة بتستثمر اموال هائلة فى هذا المجال نظرا لما اثبته من نتائج ذات فائدة اقتصادية, صحية و اجتماعية, ولذلك كان من الضرورى الحرص على دعم هذا المجال بداخل مصر نظرا لما قد يقدمه من اسهامات فى صالح الوطن. فى صدد ذلك, تطوع مجموعة من طلبة جامعة العلوم و التكنولوجيا بمدينة زويل تحت اشراف نخبة من الأساتذة الجامعية بقسم الأحياء بمدينة زويل, بتأسيس أول ملتقى سنوى لكل المهتمين بهذا المجال فى مصر. تهدف هذه الصفحة الى نشر الوعى و الثقافة العلمية بين الطلبة الناشئين فى ذلك المجال, و منحهم الفرصة للمشاركة و تقديم الأفكار و الأوراق البحثية ضمن المؤتمر السنوى. كما تعتبر من اهم الأهداف لهذا الملتقى هو توحيد جميع التخصصات فى انحاء مصر من أجل مناقشة المخططات المستقبلية للعمل بهذا المجال. ولا ننسى ان المؤتمر السنوى سيقوم بدوره بحث المستثمرين و الشركات على توفير فرص عمل للطلبة الناشئين.

لو مهتم ب انتاج الوقود الحيوي من الطحالب, تقدر تتفرج على الأجزاء التالية من Biotechnology Helwan University

النهارده هنكمل بقية حلقات "انتاج الوقود الحيوي من الطحالب" ..
في الحلقة ديه هنبدأ نتطور في الاحداث بشكل أكثردقة وهنتكلم عن بطل في الحكاية و هو الوسط الغذائي .
في دراسة من العلماء علي تاثير مكونات الوسط الغذائي كتأثير نسبة و تركيز كل من عنصري النيتروجين و الفسفور في الوسط الغذائي علي نمو طحلب اسمه Chlorella vulgaris

الحكاية: احضر العلماء ١٦ زجاجة حجمهم ٢٥٠مل و وضعوا في كل زجاجة نسبة مختلفة من كلا العنصرين (12,5% .... 50% ... 1٠٠٪)
و تم قياس الكتلة الحيوية للطحلب في كل حالة
و وجدو ان lag phase بتكون اكبر في وجود نسبه ٥٠٪ بس من النيتروجين و من ٢٥٪ الي ١٠٠٪ في الفوسفور وحده !
و ده حاجه مفيده جداً

-ازاي ؟!

-لما جينا اتكلمنا في المقالات السابقة عن إن المفاعلات الحيوية بنستخدمها لانتاج أطنان من الوقود الحيوي Biodiesel من الطحالب اللي بدورها بتحتاج أطنان من الوسط الغذائي فإثبات العلماء إمكانية استخدام نسبة قليلة من النيتروجين والفوسفور وإنتاج كمية أكبر من الكتلة الحيوية ، دة هيساعد في توفير مبالغ طائلة تدخل في تكلفة الانتاج وكده سعر المنتج يقل و يتاح للجميع بسهولة
