Some common mistakes
Female - Feminine / Male - Masculine

Female / Male

Use female or male when referring to the s*x of people, plants and animals.

Examples:

The female bear can be ferocious when defending its cubs.

Feminine / Masculine

Use feminine or masculine when referring to a characteristic that you feel is representative of the male or female of the species.

Examples:

Some people feel that he is rather feminine.
The decorating was very masculine in that house.

Femininity / Masculinity

These are the noun forms and refer to the state of being either feminine or masculine.

Examples:

Feminiity was viewed as a curse when displayed by males before the twentieth century.
Some wonder if his masculinity is too stressed.

Some common mistakes
Bring Take Fetch/Get

The use of bring and take is confusing for many students. The choice between bring or take depends on the location of the speaker. If the speaker refers to something that is at her current location, she uses bring. Generally, use bring when something moves from there to here.

Examples:

I'm glad you brought me to this shop. It's great!
I'll bring the map with me on the trip.

If the speaker refers to something that has been moved to a different location, she uses take. Generally, use take when something moves from here to there.

Examples:

The coach took the boys to football field.
Jack took his laptop with him on his trip.

Fetch/Get

When speaking about going somewhere and getting something and then bringing it back, use get (American English) or fetch (British English).

Examples:

Could you get the newspaper?
She fetched her diary and showed him the entry.

1.Was Oliver the theif?how did the judge know? no oliver was not the thief because the bookshop owner came to the room and told him that he saw two otherboys stolling the handerkerchief .
2.Was MR.Fang angry?Why? yes he was angry , because when he was going out he had to listen to another one.
3.Did MR.Brownlow take Oliver to his house?Why? yes , because he saw oliver lying on the pavement , his face was white and he was shaking so mr.browmlow felt sorry for him
4.Was MRS.Bedwin kind to Oliver?Prove? yes, because when she heard oliver talking she ran to him and told him to lie down .
5.Was Fagin angry?Why? yes because the dodger and his friend came without oliver
6.Describe MR.Sikes? he was big and about 35 years old ,he was wearing a black coat and dirty handkerchief around his neck, and he had a white dog with him .

- the dodger said that life as a thief is a good life,and if he didn't steal something,someone else will.

- fagin was triyng to make olive feel like he was one of the thieves .
4. how did fagin persuade oliver to not to escape again ?
- by telling him a story about another young boy who had run away from him .he had gone to the police and tell them about the gang ,but he had been hanged for being a thief .and told oliver all about hanging.
5. did oliver accept his life as a thief or liked bieng one of them ?
- no, oliver didn't like to be a thief .
6. what was the plan of fagin and Bill Sikes ?did oliver take part in it ?
- the plan was that bill sikes and toby go to rob a house in the country side ,but olive took part in the robbery by getting into a small window to open the main door fo sikes and toby

1-why did mr.Bumble go to mrs.Corney? because mr.bumble wanted to marry mrd. Corney.
2-what did fagin see on the wall? He saw a shadow of a woman in the house
3-what did the young lady do with oliver? He told the servant to get him in to the house .
