طلبة قسم اللغة الفرنسية في مقر جريدة الأهرام إبدو.
تحت رعاية أ.د. أحمد محمد عناني - رئيس جامعة الأهرام الكندية، وأ.د. منى فؤاد - عميدة كلية اللغات والترجمة، وأ.د. میرفت علي - وكيل الكلية لشؤون التعليم والطلاب، وأ.م.د. هدى علي - وكيل الكلية لشؤون تنمية البيئة وخدمة المجتمع، وأ.م.د. وتحت اشراف دكتورة چيهان القاضي القائم بأعمال رئيس قسم اللغة الفرنسية ؛
في إطار الأنشطة الطلابية التي ينظمها قسم اللغة الفرنسية، وحرصًا على إعداد طلابه وتأهيلهم لسوق العمل، وتنمية مهاراتهم بما يتناسب مع متطلبات العصر وتطورات التكنولوجيا والذكاء الاصطناعي، شارك عدد من طلاب القسم في تدريب عملي بمقر جريدة الأهرام إبدو بالقاهرة.
وقد أتاح التدريب للطلاب فرصة مميزة للتعرف عن قرب على بيئة العمل في مجال الصحافة والإعلام، والتفاعل مع نخبة من المتخصصين وأصحاب الخبرة في اللغة والصحافة والترجمة.
وتضمن التدريب جانبًا عمليًا في مجالات الترجمة السياسية والصحفية، إلى جانب جولة تعريفية داخل مقر الجريدة، تعرّف خلالها الطلاب على مراحل العمل داخل المطبعة والمكتبة الميكروفيلمية، واطلعوا على مجموعة من الوثائق والصور التاريخية النادرة التي يعود بعضها إلى أكثر من خمسين وسبعين عامًا.
كما اختُتم التدريب بتجربة عملية تحاكي المقابلات الصحفية، حيث شارك الطلاب في محاكاة لمقابلة صحفية، أتاحت لهم تطبيق ما تعلموه واكتساب خبرة عملية في التعامل مع هذا النوع من المواقف المهنية.
وفي تعبيرهم عن تجربتهم، قال الطلاب:
««كان التدريب فرصة مفيدة جدًا، أتاح لنا التعرف على أشخاص محترمين وذوي خبرة كبيرة في اللغة والصحافة والإعلام. كما خضنا تجربة عملية في مجالات مختلفة من الترجمة، خاصة الترجمة السياسية والصحفية.
واستفدنا أيضًا من الجولة داخل مقر الجريدة، حيث تعرفنا على طبيعة العمل في المطبعة والمكتبة الميكروفيلمية، وشاهدنا عددًا من الوثائق والصور القديمة التي يعود تاريخ بعضها إلى أكثر من خمسين وسبعين عامًا.
واختتمنا التدريب بمحاكاة لمقابلة صحفية، شاركنا فيها كطلاب، وكانت تجربة مميزة ساعدتنا على تطبيق ما تعلمناه والتعرف بشكل عملي على أجواء العمل الصحفي.»»

French Language Department Students Visit Al-Ahram Hebdo
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Annany, President of Al-Ahram Canadian University; Prof. Dr. Mona Fouad, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Translation; Prof. Dr. Mervat Ali, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs; Associate Prof. Dr. Hoda Ali, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environmental Development and Community Service; and under the supervision of Dr. Gihan El-Kady, Acting Head of the French Language Department,
As part of the student activities organized by the French Language Department, and in line with its commitment to preparing and equipping students for the labor market and developing their skills in accordance with contemporary requirements and the latest developments in technology and artificial intelligence, a number of students from the department participated in practical training at the headquarters of Al-Ahram Hebdo in Cairo.
The training provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the professional environment of journalism and media, as well as to interact with a distinguished group of specialists and experienced professionals in language, journalism, and translation.
The training included practical activities in political and journalistic translation, in addition to an introductory tour of the newspaper's facilities. During the tour, students learned about the various stages of the work carried out in the printing press and the microfilm library. They also had the opportunity to examine a collection of rare historical documents and photographs, some of which date back more than fifty or seventy years.
The training concluded with a practical experience simulating journalistic interviews. The students participated in a mock press interview, which enabled them to apply what they had learned and gain practical experience in handling professional situations of this kind.
Students' Reflections
The students expressed their appreciation of the experience, stating:
“The training was a very valuable experience that gave us the opportunity to meet respectful and highly experienced professionals in the fields of language, journalism, and media. We also gained practical experience in various areas of translation, particularly political and journalistic translation.
We also benefited greatly from the tour of the newspaper's facilities, where we learned about the nature of the work carried out in the printing press and the microfilm library. We had the opportunity to see a number of historical documents and photographs, some of which date back more than fifty or seventy years.
We concluded the training with a mock press interview in which we participated as students. It was a unique and enriching experience that helped us put what we had learned into practice and gain a better understanding of the professional environment of journalism.”
