Hayah West

As part of our How We Organize Ourselves unit, Grade 2 students explored financial literacy by learning about the flow of money through earning, spending, saving, and sharing. To bring their learning to life, they earned money before taking a grocery shopping trip to buy ingredients for smoothies. Working within a budget, students compared prices, made thoughtful choices, and practiced responsible spending. This hands-on experience helped them develop important life skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how money is managed in everyday life.

We proudly celebrate the incredible success of the first Hayah West Model United Nations simulation and the outstanding achievements of our delegates.

Inside committee sessions, we witnessed students transform from learners into true delegates of the Security Council and Model United Nations community, defending policies, building alliances, negotiating resolutions, and engaging in meaningful debate with diplomacy and respect. The strength of the delegations, the depth of discussion, and the level of commitment shown throughout the conference were truly exceptional.

This first cohort has not only made us immensely proud but has also set the bar incredibly high for all future MUN participants at Hayah West. Successful first MUN experience has laid the foundation for what we know will become a lasting tradition of excellence.

Congratulations to our U14 Boys Basketball team on securing 1st place in the CISSA West Conference!

Science and Design Celebration Day was filled with experiments, investigations, innovations, and inventions as students across the MYP showcased creative, student-driven solutions to real-world problems.

From a motion-sensor walking stick for the visually impaired to DIY water filtration systems and infrared-powered ovens, the day highlighted inquiry, collaboration, innovation, and student choice in action.

We are pleased to announce that 17 of our middle school students have successfully passed the German Fit 1 and Fit 2 examinations at the Goethe-Institut and have been awarded their certificates.

Congratulations to all our students on this wonderful achievement! We are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication.
